nope not working, I copy pasted the textures on top of it and the result is quit weird, the chainmail skirt is rendering correctly but the other part of the armor is broken, half normal texture half re-texture.
use cathedral asset optimizer to convert textures to SSE format ... Check the box for compressing textures
Also you need to change the name of the folder, the retexture have the textures in the wrong directory.
Edit : The textures itself looks good, are converted, and they are applied in game, but I have a weird bug : vertical black lines on some parts, like on the cuirass, strange ... If you have any idea why
Edit 2 : Also, the retexture have a file named gauntlet.dds, but it doesn't exist in the base mod ... Strange. Aslo the files doesn't look the same (obvsly, but I'm talking about the placement of every things in the textures)
Take a few inches/centimeters off at the bottom and you got a pretty realistic piece of chest armor. Should got great with flintlocks, as it got dragoon-vibes.
Just make it lames between the belt and the bottom, and you got a very realistic fauld.... might be easier to texture it like that, than redo the whole model ;)

In Oldrim this armor had some great retexture from Tru3Magic.

You could check esl qualification with wrye bash. And it said you can't.
