I have had odd floating lanterns pop up here and there in my game even when I am outside in the world and not in a town or such. I use Medieval Lanterns of Skyrim and I get that issue here and there. It can happen with any mod really. Depends on where authors place objects in the world and where another mod uses a location as a shop like this mod. You could always click the lantern to get its ID and either delete it or move it in the CK if you want. I don't use Lanterns of Skyrim II. Another mod author did take it over from MannyGT so you may want to ask that author for a solution.
LoS II placed the offending lantern in question; I was merely pointing it out for anyone else who may come across the issue in future :) It was simple enough to remove it and I'm already looking forward to buying fresh garlic bread when I'm next visiting Solitude.
Thanks for mentioning it. Other users will appreciate it if they come across it. When I ported this over, I didn't really expect it to do so well so the response has been nice. Thanks for adding your picture. The aerial view is pretty sweet. Good shot of the vendor at work
Well, you can't beat The Honey Spirit, but Cake O'Clock is an interesting place too. Both are really immersive and fit into the world as though they were there from the start. Jokerine did a great job creating and you have done fine porting them. In fact, I've just seen how many I'm using so, have some kudos.
Thanks for the kind words. I am getting ready to port over another one of Jokerine's mods, Ironback Hideout. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32569
I was about to go into the game and test it out but I had to go to work. I will be able to get to it today and make sure there are no issues with the cabin or the bandits she moved. If everything works then I will release it this weekend. Its one of her more obscure house mods but I think its kind of cool. Definitely more for immersion and/or roleplaying.
I experienced untextured facial bugs and an unresolvable CTD issue. Had to delete all characters with this mod in their save. I would not suggest downloading this if you value your character. I am a big fan of the "AddItemMenu" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17563) if you want to have instant access to all Hearthfire stuff.
I got the gray face bug after a short while. Generating facegen files via the CK made the face normal again, you may want to include those files in the upload in case other people run into the issue. Jokerine's mods are unfortunately infamous for having gray faced NPCs due to missing facegen files. Thanks for the upload though, I love having this shop in my game =)
Thanks for letting me know. I don't get the grayface bug at all in my game but I did look at the file structure and did notice that there isn't any at all. Swore their was. Honestly your the first player to mention it here. I will look up how to generate them as I don't how to right off hand because I generally never had to before. I always ran everything thru the NifOptimizer to make all the meshes and texture files compatible with SE. Glad your enjoying the shop. Jokerine made some good stuff
I had the same issue. FaceGen sometimes gets lost in translation even if supposedly you're doing everything right. Here's the guide on how to fix it for anyone who stops by and may need it: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Dark_Face_Bug
I can confirm that this mod (at least the normal version, i didn't test the alternative location) is working with JK's Skyrim. But there are some plant in front of the door! Now it looks like the place is never being visited by the citizens. So a compatibility patch to remove the plants should be nice, don't know how to make it myself.
Yeah as I noted in the description , the default location will have the plants there. They can be removed with the console. Instructions on how to do that is in that section that it’s mentioned. Thanks for letting me know it works with JK’s.
For those fans of the Jokerine mods like this, I have successfully ported over The Golden Hen Restaurant. The conversion went quite smooth and it looks and works great. The link to the port can be found here:
Edited post. I attempted to port over The Seaside Library from Jokerine and it just didn't work out. It was one thing after another and I decided it wasn't worth all the drama. There is a small dungeon mod she made called The Secret of the Icebound Crypt that looks promising and I may try to port that. I will see how it goes. Be back here to report any updates on that.
Update: The conversion of Icebound Crypt went very well and it works and looks great. If you like to try it for yourself, you can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17806
