Ran this and now she is bouncy...  !

    Her pirate outfit is bouncy.

... Don't know if she is bouncy naked as we've not got married yet. 😊

TBH I'm not sure I want to marry her, as she's a bit of a psychopath.. always laughing maniacally when she she's blood everywhere  !  🤣🤣🤣

Hi I won't be using this in my current playthrough cuz ive been modding til dawn for the past 2 days and I can't wait anymore but will for the next run.

Anyways, I'm a COMPLETE stranger to bodyslide and presets such as this.

    1. is modpages like this one just a preset where I kinda just download files and 'copy-paste' into Bodyslide?

    2. I'm dumb I know, I'm trying to read the description but I don't understand. After downloading files from this page (through Vortex for example?), do I then install as normal then only do the Bodyslide stuff or do it before or what?

    3. As a more general question for those interested to answer, this will probably be harder to answer/take more replies but, is there a way to 'fetch data' regarding other modded outfits and what Bodyslide 'sizes' they are and adjust to fit a custom follower? Put another way, I want to resize regular armor (custom, not vanilla) to fit characters like Poet Follower where they don't have standard size (I think? Haven't actually run the playthrough yet, shouldn't be hard to figure I'm sorta new to Skyrim modding)

    Edit:

    4. can Bodyslider for both bodies and outfits be done in-game at any time or do they have to be downloaded beforehand?

    5. For mods like this one, does it matter whether I chose CBBE Curvy/Slim/Vanilla ?

You should watch gopher bodyslide tutorial (The video is for Fallout but it works the same for Skyrim)

      Step by Step
      1. install bodyslide
      2. Install CBBE with bodyslide data
      3. Install original Rcorder
      4. Install this mod and choose CBBE version (Just install with Vortex, doesn't matter if you download manually or with Vortex)
      5. Se Gopher's video
      6. Open Bodyslide and build body and outfits for you in a preset that you like
      7. In the group filter there is a group called Recorder and there you can build the body and outfit for her

To answer your fourth question, yes, you can by RaceMenu Morphs

answer to your question 5, no it doesn't matter at all

wasnt sure where the error log is, but anyways. it seems bodyslide is unable to load input nifs. im using bhunp as the body, shouldnt of caused an issue..only thing it wouldnt? have is all the bones but it should of still built for that body

It doesn't work for BHUNP since the names of the BHUNP nifs are different

In case you wanted to change her weight, for some reason it's disabled in the .esp

    • Open the .esp in SSEedit and go to her armor addon "0_NakedRecorderTorso"
    • Find where it says Weight Slider - Female and right click>edit>set it to enabled
    • Repeat this for her hands and feet
    • Exit leaving the plugin checked so it will save and probably create a backup just in case

In game you can open the console and click on her, type setnpcweight x where x is 1-100 depending how big you want her to be. When she inevitably gets the head glitch that makes you wish for the sweet release of death, you can type disable to get rid of her and enable to bring her back the way she's supposed to be. Once you've found the right weight you like you can change it permanently in SSEedit under Non-Player Character(Actor)>Recorder>Weight. My bodyslide 100 is pretty #dummythicc and I just don't think that fits her personality (or voice)

You're a godsend. I was so confused as to why changing her weight seems to do nothing on her naked body, but works on her clothings.

Tried adding this and editing body slides with the CBBE petite preset but it doesn't seem to be working correctly and very much does not look like anyone else using this same preset.

ok, got it. made the clothes with my own uunp body.
but, the pirate shirt has not full body, only parts. so if i want to make the shirt transparent i cant, because there isnt full body inside. something else that bothers me is, the shirt has 'half' body, without legs. so, if i will have recorder wearing only the shirt and naked the rest of her, would i have invisible legs?

      +1.
I would like to konw how to replace the half body with a full cbbe body, maybe with nifscope or bodyslide.

      • Back up your original .nifs and the .esp and use file>load outfit in outfit studio
      • There's a _0 and _1 (high and low weight) doesn't matter which you start with, but you'll need to repeat this for both
      • Once you have the outfit loaded, over on the right is a list of body parts, delete whatever part is the body (her skin) and go to file>import from .nif and import your full body, probably from meshes/actor/characterassets/female/femalebody_0.nif (remember to use your _0 or _1 weight body depending which one you're editing)
      • Export to .nif and overwrite the old outfit file (repeat the process for both weights)
      • Next thing, you'd need to go into nifskope and change the skin dismember instance info to slot 32-body for those files (again repeating for both _0 and _1 versions)
      • Then open the recorder.esp in SSEedit and change the armor addon as well as the armor to use the slots: body, forearms, and calves
      • Load the game and test, if it works you're good, if not you can replace the backups

You can do a lot with this info, converting outfits to modular or vice versa. Alternatively, you could just duplicate the original armor and armor addon in the CK, name the full body verisons of the .nif you created something else (like put "FULL" at the end) and point your new outfit to an armor addon which points to those nifs, leaving the original untouched so you can call up whichever one you want at the time from in game.

Keep in mind, there's a reason modders delete sections of the body under the clothes, usually because it clips. Especially so when you've got something like physics on the thighs under tight leggings, or like a lot of outfits which delete the nipples because they'd poke through. Outfit studio is incredibly powerful, you can easily touch up clipping issues using a grow selection brush while just the clothing is selected, or delete entire parts and make things modular/topless/or bottomless using mask/invert mask/shape>delete vertices. Since it's pretty much impossible for armor mods to fit every custom bodyslide without limiting their original design, learning how to make these small customizations will greatly improve your end experience.
