Hi everyone. Hope you're enjoying the mod. Apologies if I don't seem very active lately. I am dealing with health issues both mental and physical. Turns out I have sleep apnea.
Great mod, but did anyone managed how to get it working with Distinct Interiors? I have all the patches, but somehow NPCs and some clutter and furniture are often out in the void (used tcl to check this out, as Faralda seems to be using the furniture beyond the building). Also, all the NPCs are in the tavern and other city interiors are pretty much empty all the time... I don't have other mods modifying Winterhold.
i love this mod! it's so beautiful! but i've been having some issues with occlusion planes (i assume), certain pieces and objects pop in and out as i walk through the city. is this a known issue, or am i just missing something? (i have no other winterhold mods, everything seems to work fine apart from this)
Absolutely stunning work, i really like it. I read your sticky post and it's totally understandable if youre not working on this mod anymore. that being said, if you are planning to do more work on this mod, i would be super excited to see more optimization/better fps. wishing you all the best, thank you for the work you have done!
I've got a problem. All the NPCs added by this mod are stuck in Riverwood, they clump up near the blacksmith specifically. Tried loading the mod at the very bottom of my load order, but the issue persists. Any idea of what might be causing this?
Okay, I've identified the problem. Some NPCs (and not all of them as I initially suspected) use Alvor as their template, which causes them to spawn in Riverwood and work the smithy. Removing the template from these NPCs fixed the issue. Going to double this on the bugs tab.
Could you give me some instructions or point to a guide on how to do this? I'm completely new to SSEEdit and can't even figure out how to find the NPC records.
Load the plugin in xedit. Find it in left pane and click on it. A tree of record types will appear, find "non-player character", click on it. Click on an NPC record, find "template" row in right pane, select it and press delete. Do the same for every other NPC.
Whoa, this is Winterhold is supposed to be as a former capital of Skyrim even after great collapse. I can't believe I got lost in Winterhold of all places.
Many thanks to Archinatic for giving us this great city and also to Czasior, Janquel, Jelidity, and patching team for the comprehensive patches.
This is maybe the most impressive city overhaul in terms of exterior models and architecture, but the interiors feel cramped and small. It seems it doesn't do the typical "Tardis" effect where the interior is much bigger than the exterior dimensions would allow (as opposed to most other city overhauls and even vanilla Skyrim), and having realistically scaled interiors feels kinda weird
I'm seeing red splotchy textures on the ice right outside the walls, only on the vertical parts of the ice. I don't see it when using The Great Cities - Minor Cities and Towns (I'm not running these mods concurrently). It's something with the ice specifically at Winterhold's walls. Any tips for this? I'm using BDS and SoS but I disabled them and still see the issue. The city looks great, by the way.
I'm using this as part of the Gate to Sovngarde collection; so I'm not sure where the issue arose; but for some reason I had the original jarl's farmhouse still there, blocking everything including the path up to the new Jarl's house.
After digging around, I see a few people had the issue but no concrete solution, so I just removed it with the console. That seems to be an adequate workaround, but I wish I knew what happened.
