UPDATES
I've been slowly chipping away at the next update. I've made a lot of changes. Sorry for lack of updates or activity, mental health has been majorly screwing me over these past few years, but I think I'm starting to recover. An update will come eventually, I haven't abandoned this mod or modding in general, I'm just very slow.
I have downloaded your Shirley follower mod last night. And while I was too tired to test her out in game, I will definitely do so soon :).
I, too, am a dog lover and owner myself. Hanzel, who is a sheltie mix, is my best friend and my service dog who I have had for almost 6 years now. I can't even begin to imagine what will happen if he passed away. An absolute wreck more than likely. Hanzel being almost 8 years old, is still as spry and healthy as ever, and what I have researched, hopefully has 10 or so years before anything happens.
I'm crying and tearing up as I write this, because I too have lost beloved family dogs, and unfortunately puppies, over the years to sickness, old age, or both, and to see this wholesome, heartwarming tribute is something I can definitely relate to.
Don't worry, I'll take care of Murphy for you in my adventures in Skyrim :). Thank you for posting, creating, and sharing this mod for us.
Just wanted to let you know that Murphy is fully VR compatible, no patches needed.
Your boy is absolutely gorgeous. Having read your letter in the OG mod post, I felt really emotional and actually teared up when I first loaded up and found him in the Bannered Mare. Regardless of how long it's been, I hope you know that you will always have a horde of Skyrim players that will treasure him like you did.
Thank you for sharing him with us, the tremendous amount of love you have for him is felt by every person who has downloaded this mod.
Such a sweet tribute. I am installing this today so I can start taking care of Murphy...I'm so sorry for your loss. I have been looking for a dog companion that I didn't have to worry about being hurt during an adventure.
(I know this is late but I don't care.) I know it's hard to lose a dog, especially a dog you viewed as a good friend. I lost my dog 2 years ago and I'm still heartbroken. I just wanted to say if you need to talk to someone you can talk to all of us who want to help. Best of luck my friend and I hope you're happy.
