This is my first time trying to do this kind of thing. How do I change the base form? The mod I'm trying to make compatible is Fort Dawnguard Immersive.
Listen, I've been going over this mod in creation kit high as a kite today and I can't for the life of me add ownership to any of these crates. I've figured out how to change the leveled lists to make sure the crates don't spawn anything too over powered or unbalanced but I'm still able to just take whatever I want from them like they're a garbage can and nobody cares.
I really like this idea, and I tried your mod for a few minutes. Like I said, really cool idea but the loot is just too good, and not balanced at all (in my opinion, anyways). It would be a good idea to make some variations of this mod, like making one that gives loot more like vanilla loot, (ingredients, food, clutter, etc...) insted of what you have now, where my lvl 13 character gets new spell tomes and high leveled enchanted jewelry (3rd box I searched had a necklace of 100% poison resist and a spell tome, among other gear, and the first two had spell tomes as well). Like I said, great idea, and works great too! It's just that I can't really use it until you have a balanced version. (This is of course my opinion, but I would say others would likely feel the same) Also this is only constructive criticism, and not something to bash your work, because like I said, it works great!
Is a bashed patch to merge the leveled lists mandatory for this mod to work? Since it changes the leveled lists, I don't know if just installing it will work (meaning the crates will have items in them).
I write after a long time testing it, and I must say I switched to another container mod. Leveled lists not touched actually meant getting daedric weapons in the helgen storeroom right after the tutorial along with some pretty strong potions and whatnot at low levels. Having strong armor lying around in random home crates is pretty game breaking. Switched to GenghiskhanX barrels and crates that fills these containers with food, drinks and misc items, making the containers more balanced and immersive.
Another nice mod. To my understanding however, Dynamic Things is apparently notorious for causing save bloat because it created a bunch of references that never got deleted after they were looted. I'm guessing this is not a problem here because one, yours require patches here and there and two, it was done in a static fashion as in it isn't dynamic in game but was done outside of the game. Am I correct on this?

A mod that's been reviewed by Brodual?
Edit: Finally figured it out.
Please @ahzaab, hear my prayers.
Is there a reason why the Dawnguard crates are unlootable while the Dragonborn crates are?

NVM: It was a load order problem. Odd thing is that it took two runs of LOOT to fix it. Apparently LOOT couldn't make up its mind.
