I noticed that this mod is still getting quite a few downloads, so I loaded it up in geck (with the update and dlcs also loaded) and can confirm it's still working correctly. All the values still check out and anything xedit shows different besides the bloom and eye adaption is just a false positive. Glad to see this mod is still getting some use.
The only mod that works for this, but why does it change the contrast and color? The only mod that works, but it changes another one... I just want to disable that annoying light change but without it affecting additional things, why man? (laughs). What an annoying game really, it's more the fucking time you spend fixing bugs than playing. And when you think you have enough mods, more for repair than for gameplay, then another additional hassle when using hdmi or even for using new headsets, unbelievable (laughs).
i was hoping that this mod might be safe to remove during a playthrough, becuase i just noticed turning off bloom makes the sky look horrible in alot of cases. it might be caused by vr but im not sure. either way, this is what it looks like on my screen
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that you can automate this process using the "Normalize values" script from this page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59733?tab=files . This also allows to remove eye adaptation from mods like Luminosity or Enhanced Lighting for ENB.
I'm sorry, I didn't want to be rude, I only wanted to help you : I imagine it took a long time to do this, while you could have done it in 2 minutes with this script. But you misinterpreted my message;
I was getting very annoying bloom around the College of Winterhold area, tried this mod and it did not remove it. Found another way to remove it though, if anyone is in a similar situation. In the Documents > ... > Skyrim Special Edition folder there is a Skyrim.ini file. In the [Display] category just paste these lines after all the others: fGlobalBloomThresholdBoost=100.00 fGlobalMapBloomThresholdBoost=100.00
HDR is only a contrast boost that blackens and bleaches details to death THDR toggles it and the game is beautiful but it disables imods like Better Resource Warnings SkyrimVR.ini [Display] fGlobalContrastBoost=-.224 leaves HDR on and reverts contrast pump You will loose a pinch of saturation, maybe use change fGlobalSaturationBoost CAS in Reshade will kill the blur. Tone mapping in Reshade will tweak exposure and gama Tfog 0,99000 will clear things up too. teofis crashes VR. You can use command GS 1 for default gama or increase it like GS 1.2 I would add this or the other mod to kill bloom, etc.
Eye adaption is crap. If you got a 17 inch laptop at arms length in a dim room your eyes will give you free natural eye adaption. If you got a 32" curved monitor you for sure will have natural eye adaption. If you are wearing a VR set there is no way to avoid natural eye adaption. Screwing with brightness is pure garbage, we already have real adaption in our eyes thank you. People fought for years to remove chromatic effect from filming, now it's a game feature? Are we shooting a movie on the set of Whiterun? Lens flare? Am I driving a car in the rain? Its all garbage, turn it off.

OMG I can so agree with that, its actually sad. I love to have mods but not if a game forces me to have mods just for bug fixes LOL
Ignoring previous question..The new one: does it affected on ENB effects?
Kinda rude posting another mod that does something similar in someone else's mod, don't you think?
