console command does not work... why do u guys have to put the weapons in a dungeon when we dont even know if the mod is working right? sorry but mods like this are a time killer when u have other mods to test....
This mod works perfectly fine for me and the rest of the players commenting here. On the description page, i say exactly how to acquire the swords via console:
If you would like to get them from the console in case anything goes wrong or it does not show up in Volunruud, you can add them with:
xx002F9C for the One handed sword xx002F9D for the Greatsword
xx= the numbers that correspond with this mod in your load order.
Also if you go to the console and type help "snow elven" just like that, you can find them listed there and get the ID numbers.
I just went into my game and they were both there. I would uninstall and reinstall the .esp again to make sure. If you use SSEEdit, then load that up and see if they are there in the file tree under 'constructible object' from the .esp. If its not there then you dont have the .esp enabled.
Possibly. Lemme go into the CK and see if it was made so it could be disenchanted. If not then I could most likely make an unenchanted version. It wouldn't be that hard. They can't be crafted as far as I know. I will come back here and update my post after I go into the CK and see whats going on. Thanks.
Thanks for the conversion. Maybe you could try your hand at the Tempest Armor Mod by the same author. This Sword is in that pack with many other weapons and armor. Unfortunately When I converted it using standard methods I get ctd on weapon draw from most of them. Including the Tempest snow elf sword. It has some really nice stuff in it non the less. Hopefully someone more skilled than myself will give it a try.
Your welcome. Hmm. Ok i can give it a try. I saw that the original author made that armor as well along with other weapons. Let me see what files are in there and go from there. Glad my conversion for this sword works for you. I have to look at the permission from the author to port it over first.
Update: ugh well, i looked at the tempest armor mod and i can already tell there is gonna be issues: 1. Author does not speak english very well at all and admits he has a hard time responding to PM’s in english 2. No permissions were given on the main page for porting any of it at all which sucks 3. Guns and muskets have notorious animation and performance bugs. Another author made a dwemer gun and it had several bug reports-and hasnt updated it since 2016. 4. I sent a message to the original author back in april about this mod and so far no response. As far as getting permission to work on the Armor mod, i am not gonna hold my breath but i can try. No promises tho 5. The weapons do look pretty sweet and would love try and convert them however without any communication beforehand i am not going waste my time working on any of it until nanigashi gets back to me first. Lets see what happens.
If i make any progress then i can update my progress on this page. However this sword i converted does work for you with no problems right? Just wanted make sure i understood your post correctly
It works perfectly! The version from Tempest Armor Weapon Mod didn't work after I converted the Meshes/esp. But that Lava sword is something special. Thanks for the effort either way. Edit: I'm not sure if it qualifies , There is a bit at the bottom of the page that Google translates as "As the equipment of a self-made follower, as a reward of enemy equipment and quest, use of remodeling / modification, only use of mesh and texture etc etc. If you do not use for commercial purposes or other games, please use it all freely. "
Yes it does. Plus it has that anime look to it as well. I like to find some of the more obscure weapon and armor mods to convert from Oldrim. These caught my eye. Glad you like it. Enjoy
