I haven't been modding Skyrim for a couple years now, but I would be fine with any sort of mod merger if that's something people are working on.

Hi, excuse my English which is very bad and my compliments on the mod.
I have a problem with Alvor in Riverwood, I can't make the leather helmet mission, I make it but it doesn't complete the mission.
Maybe it's because it's not made in the forge?
Is this mod compatible with the immersive armor?
Thank you very much for everything.

There is a bug where the smithing tutorial cannot be completed. Armor mods that add new armors are not affected by this mod, so they just use their default crafting recipes. Armor retextures should all be compatible.

Could you specify for an example what Nordic pottery breaks down into corundum ingots? Also, thanks I really like the mod.

It's the bronze-colored pots and bowls that you can find inside Nordic ruins.

I like the idea of needing charcoal to forge ingots, however I find it odd I can't use firewood to make charcoal. Can that be added?

I removed it because I thought it was too easy to get charcoal that way, but I guess I could add it in as an option.

I think it's fair to add as an option because charcoal is needed across the recipes so you go through a lot of it to make different things. And it's usually a multiple of charcoal to 1 item or X amount of ores and there are not that many wooden objects to come by to keep up

This sounds similar to ars metallica with the melting down wepaons and armors back into ingots. I do like the idea of smithing recipes being more complex too, also I like the idea of burning clutter into charcoal. As much as I like ars metallica, I may have to give this a try.

Love the idea of making smithing recipes more complex, but is this compatible with mods that alter the smithing perk tree slightly like ordinator, SPERG, etc. If not, any plans on patches?

Usually perk mods don't alter the base smithing tree so that they remain compatible with mods that add new armor sets to the game, so I'd say there should be no compatibility issues. I myself play with Ordinator, so I at least know that that mod is okay to use.
