I have made a new version of this mod available HERE and I consider this old version outdated. I would just delete this to have fewer mods to keep track of, but instead I will leave this up for those who want it. However, for my own sanity I will not offer any support for it. Thank you for understanding, and please check out the new version!
ive been having problems with some of my follower mods including this one, when i tell them to follow me they give the dialog then dont followme and if i ask agian the same thing happens. anyone know how to fix that?
This is so awesome! I've recently started a Red Sonja playthrough and this will be a nice one to add. She's lovely, thank you for your mods. It takes someone understanding art to make such quality.
Love it! But too bad we don't know what are her skills. I don't really know if she is more for heavy or light armor (Would say (very) light lol) and if she can use another kind of weapons.
She looks like an awesome follower. Thing is, I'm CBBE SE. I saw she has her own body, so would it hurt my game to install a unique armor set (so it can't overwrite CBBE files), then leave her alone only swapping out weapons?
Not sure it's even possible without overwriting and borking something somewhere, so was looking for input on that, for whomever may know.
I'm doing this with Acalypha, but comes with her own outfits, etc, so she's basically self containing; no problems there or with anything she interacts with. I'm hoping to find the same success with Lady Arkay, assuming there are no plans to convert her to CBBE SE. She look really well done, I'm sure the pics don't do her justice.
Just replace the body, hand and feet files in data/meshes/pandorable/lady arkay/ with your installed CBBE meshes. They can be found in data/meshes/actors/character/character assets/. Then do the same thing for textures so she doesn't get ugly seams. That's all there is to it and the same thing can be done with almost every follower. :)
This is exciting!! After creeping on your profile a bit, and finding all these totally awesome looking followers (I've been in a CBBE SE bubble for a while now).... well, let's just say I thought I was over my follower-collection phase... but... seemed to have caught that bug again, dunno how ;). Ran a couple of your followers when I was on UNP, and they were very very well done, great work. I would probably do this process for them all, if I can get the process down.
I'm familiar with moving meshes, it's how I give followers physics who don't have them out of the box... But.... how to do this with textures? That's a whole new territory for me... Would I need to make all new textures, or edit/recreate what's there... I haven't the faintest clue on where to start that process.
I went to Data\textures\actors\character\character assets, but only see a tintmasks folder, with no discernible texture that I'd want to copy over another. Do you mean the files in Data\textures\actors\character\female? If so, are there specific files I need to choose over others?
If I use Acalypha as an example (my only UNP follower installed so far), would I be overwriting the textures that make her unique? (like the spine-looking thing on her back, or her black eye?). I only ask with her as an example so I can enjoy your followers as intended, and make sure I'm doing it right.
Sorry for the noobish questions, and I promise I'm not trying to punish you for being awesome with your timely, informative response lol :)
Haha, glad you like them. Textures that you've installed are found in data/textures/actors/character/female/, copy them and paste where the follower's textures are located. For my followers it is data/textures/pandorable/follower name/, perhaps not with my earliest releases though. Replacing textures for a follower like Acalypha would indeed also remove unique details like marks and tattoos.
It worked!! This is pure gold, thank you for your patience! It's as though she was made that way out of the box! You've broadened my horizons
I noticed that even though I blindly copy/pasted everything from the data/textures/actors/character/female/ folder into your folder, that she still kept her original skin color, makeup, lipstick, eye shadow, etc! Hell, and here I was happy with "close enough" lol I will definitely try this on your other followers, too! Except maybe Zusha, who has the hand tattoo across her face and other's like her with custom markings?
Thanks again, Pandorable, for the tutelage, patience, and your artistry Now, time to assemble the female Horde of Smokin' Hotness!
You're very welcome! Makeup and any facial war paints or tattoos are baked into the facetint and will not be affected by skin textures. Any body markings however are part of the skin textures so keep that in mind for followers that have body tattoos, like Acalypha or the new Zusha in the follower pack.
Hey, having a weird issue; she is in the game, moving around, but I can't target or interact with her, as if she was a ghost. Same issue with the Vampire Eyes version of Lanaya, where as the Normal Eyes Lanaya works. I've tried to remove any logically conflicting mods (I focused on eyes, considering the above). Is there anything you did with eyes that might conflict with other mods? Not your fault, but if I can figure out what does it, I'll remove the conflicting mod because yours is amazing.
It wouldn't be eye related, but could be an issue with another mod. Usually this is a common issue though and simply requires you to load an earlier save. If that doesn't work, try these things: - talk to her on a new character and see if the problem is still there - reinstall the mod - make sure the load order is correct, check the mod page of your installed follower framework for more info - dismiss all current followers and type set playerfollowercount to 0 in the console - check for conflicting mods, mods like animations might require you to "unblock" certain NPCs for them to work.
The mod is called animations, I don't mean all animation mods. So if you don't use that mod (linked in my previous comment) then that's not the issue. Hope it works out for you!

What do you meam by 'unblock?' The only mods I have with animations are female face animations, female idles and the usual FG.
