Not sure why you can't, assuming your character isn't already married. Freya's voice type is marriable even without RDO but it might be worth trying that mod just in case to see if it changes anything
Hey all, I am currently trying to replicate Freya's looks from the images. I know this has been discussed already in the comments but I still have not found a match for the legs/stockings.
Here is what I have so far if it helps anyone:
FREYA Chest piece: Spicy Steel Armor from Spice Collection Mod (NOT Spicy Steel Plate) Neck: Bear Fur Cloak and Steel Collar from Divine Elegance Store Mod (2 separate pieces) Hands: Dragon Carved Gauntlets from Dragon Carved Armor Mod Legs: CANNOT FIGURE OUT!!
At first I thought the legs were Spicy Steel Plate Boots, but it doesn't match the images as the stockings Pandorable has used seem to have kind of a 'chainmail' pattern/look to it. I've also tried going through almost all of the boots in Spice Collection to no avail.
If anyone finds out what was used, would be helpful!!
I just tested every single pair of boots from the Spice Collection.
The CLOSEST I got to replicating your image was the Spicy "Fur Boots" as it is the only pair that has the chainmail texture/pattern at the very top of the stockings, but the pattern is very different from your one and it also does not go as high up as yours. The Nordic Carved Boots also came pretty close, however NONE of the boots match your image.
Are you sure the boots/stocking were not from another mod, such as Divine Elegance etc?
Thanks for listing all of these poptdp. And yeah, the specific textures were what we needed so thanks Pandorable for listing the one you used. I was wondering what mod I was missing lol.
For anyone looking for the collar, you can find it in ssedit under "000_DE_FrejaSteelCollar" and in the original .bsa under "frejasteelneck_1.nif". just search *frejasteelneck_1* on the mod directory.
Would you be opposed to making a "no warpaint" patch for Freya? i tried taking the texture from the standalone mod's patch and it doesn't seem to work so assuming there's some incompatibility.
+1 on the Freya with no warpaint. I tried the same but noticed the reference was different. When I ran the game after changing the file name from 00000D64.dds (standalone) to 00003349.dds (heroines), it looked like she'd had a hard night out drinking. Doesn't seem to work and I'm not good enough with gimp or paint.net to make any corrections myself.
Freya's voice is still commander, but its supposed to have been changed to Nord.. I imagine youre prbably not going to update that anytime soon, but thought maybe you might want to know just in case.. I love the mod, but I cant handle the commander voice on her, it doesnt suit her, its just to masculine for an NPC who is supposed to be younger than a battle hardened Imperial Legate.
Her voice was changed back for compatibility so there will be no "update". Which voice you personally like or dislike doesn't really matter to anyone but yourself, but fortunately you can set her voice as whatever you want with two clicks in xEdit and don't need to rely on me for that. Youtube has plenty of tutorials if you haven't used xEdit before
I dont understand the compatibility issue? Im running follower mods from multiple creators with varying npc voices without issue.. I just wanted to use one of yours, but if its a compatibility issue with any other voice but commander, than ok, I understand I guess. At this point it would make no sense for me to learn how to change it if its going to give me grief after, so I'll leave it be and look for others more compatible.. Thanks for the suggestion with xedit, I know how to use it somewhat, but I also know how hard it is to create these mods, and I appreciate the work all of you modders do, so dont feel like Im trying to bulldog your mod... My intention was only for suggestional purposes, nothing more. Youre a fantastic modder!
Freya uses the Blockrunner perk and it's just a disaster. Sometimes it knocks you down too, after which the first person camera freezes (stuck) and you can't fix it through the console (tc, tfc, etc..). You can ONLY load a previous save. How can I permanently remove this perk from Freya?
Thank you, fixed for me. I love your followers, especially Freya and Miniel. I changed their voice and give them CBBE body. I love that they are compatible with everything I use - NFF, Flower Girls, iNeed, etc. Thanks for the great job!
this might be late, but i've seen alot of people still seeking to get Freya's armor in the images here but don't necessarily want to install 3 huge armor mods for them. that's why i came up with a modification of this mod where i have added the entire set as an standalone armor set that is merged into this mod, so you wouldn't need any other mods or to add any extra esp to your mod list. here are the changes i've made to the mod:
1. added the entire set that freya is wearing in the images on this mod page as an standalone set, and added it to the world space with the ability to temper the pieces.
2. changed Freya's Voice to Youngeager voice type (the elisif's voice).
3. there was a major clipping with the spice gear collection's chest and boots pieces which i have fixed it in outfit studio (optimized for CBBE Curvy Body)
4. dropped the CBBE bodyslide from another mod into this package, so everything you need is in one place you can find the armor set somewhere in skyrim, in a dungeon. if you want to skip finding it on your own and just pick it up immediately, this is where its located:
Spoiler:
Show
in the lost knife hideout dungeon somewhere between windhelm and ivarstead, inside the arena where the bandit boss is in, on a draugr mannequin you can alternatively open console command and write: help "Queen Freydis" 4, and find the IDs of the set pieces.
i have contacted pandorable about this but haven't heard from her, so i do not have permission to add this on nexus. but if she wants to add my version as an optional file, she only has to ask for it. send me a personal message for more info about the file.
I don't have any plans to upload them on the SE side of nexus, they're quite old now. However, you can use LE presets in the SE version of racemenu too, just make sure you don't download any LE versions of the required mods :)

But she gave you a hint about how you could edit the voice yourself, thereby creating a customized version for yourself.
