About this mod

Summerset Cabin is a no load-door Player home you reclaim from an abandoned derelict. Close to Helgen, it is your first retreat, but you may build it up to a fully functioning abode. Very Immersive! Just watch the rain fall!

Changelogs
With the Dragon's convenient appearance, you've miraculouslyescaped Helgen. But what now? As a fugitive on the run, you're looking for shelter, but will a cave really do, long-term? After all, it's a long way to the 5000 bones you need for Breezehome...meanwhile, where do you store your
loot? What about all those dilapidated shacks scattered through Tamriel? Absent landlords be damned, if you find one, your moving in and taking over.

Summerset Cabinin one such abandoned domicile. Perhaps it was a homesteader's toehold, or a bandit hideout, or a thief's den, but now
it's yours. What will you make of it?

FIRST YOU HAVE TO FIND IT. Running away from Helgen, turnleft and keep north along the snow line, if you'd like to come upon it by
accident. To get directions, go to the Guardian Stones and take the road north to the sign post. Touch it for a map marker.

THEN YOU HAVE TO BUILD IT. The Cabin is in awful shape, as one might expect, but with a little elbow grease, you can cut back the trees and start to repair. By the end, it won't be a palace, but it will have all the amenities, including varied storage, crafting stations, a full smithy with smelter and a garden. You can
customize the decoration with a hunter's spoils or a herbalist's simples. It is lore friendly, and best of all,NO LOAD SCREENS.

Navameshed, weather clipped, and cleaned with TESEdit, it will be compatible will any mod that doesn't directly affect cell <Wilderness 1, -18> or the weather system .

Thank you to Scarla, for the chimney mesh, that made the interiors and exteriors blend.
Thank you to Xilante, for the original weather script and(especially) Darkfox127, not only for the fabulous tutorials on weatherclipping,
but also the Riverside Shack, which was my inspiration. Thank you also to Anthony Bellingham and all the great modders who generously post scripts and tutorials. You have made modding so much fun.

This version of Summerset Cabin is for vanilla Skyrimweather, and requires Hearthfires DLC.
