I'm really not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the textures are all tinted yellow so its impossible to get a grey or white hair color The textures are amazing but I'm kind of committed to the white hair look for my Dragonborn

Try making your tint slightly purple. It'll cancel the yellow out.

The new textures are darker and more heavily saturated. For most shades of hair it's not noticeable, but yeah... white is impossible. I came looking for a lighter/desaturated version, but there doesn't seem to be. You can tint your player's hair purple to counteract it, but NPCs will still have the wrong shade.

Adjust them in an image editor yourself, as needed.
Lightness +50 and Saturation -50 in GIMP puts them at close to the original KS textures. Sat -80 for less yellow, but still natural look, or -100 for obviously completely grey/white.

Only to cover the new hairstyles, it's not broken or something like that, it will still work just not with the new hairstyles.
I haven't had the time to update this and I'll do it when I have the time.

This would be a pleasure as since Modpocalypse NPCs is quite a good mod which uses KS Hairdos but some haircuts are from newer versions of the mod.

Is there a comprehensive Salt and Wind Retexture mod? I now have this one (which covers mostly KS Hairdos HDT-SMP), plus the one for 1.7, plus the one for 1.8, plus the one for 1.9, all of which seem to cover a subset of the (now current) KS Hairdos 1.9 and some follower mods (e.g., Wammy's Jeeta). I'm assuming at this point that there is no all-in-one Salt and Wind pack that covers all KS Hairdos including SMP hair and wigs. If anyone has such a beast, please provide a link.

The hairstyles look great, but the wigs don't seem to work properly. They have the right texture, but they don't change colours to the PCs or NPCs hair colour.

    Hello everyone,

if this has already been commented or asked, I apologize. I have a question regarding the installation process. On the description page it's mentioned like this:

    Install
Install with a Mod Manager (Recommended)
Take the texture folder and paste it in your data folder.

I'm not 100% sure if these are meant as Step 1 AND Step 2 or as Step A (mod manager) OR Step B (manually).
I downloaded the mod via my mod manager (Vortex), installed and enabled it + overwrote my files (Making the KSH Retexture load after the KSH SSE mod) <- I hope this is right btw..

Is it finished like this or do I have to do that second step in addition: copy (or move??) the texture folder into my data folder?

I would be grateful for your help!

One or the other, not both. So Step A (mod manager) or step B (manually). You did it correctly.
