I love the "Magic is Hard" addon. It could really be an entire overhaul with like two added features or something and I think it would slay. Thanks for the mod!
I did the same! It's funny because I was just looking for a mod that forced small critters to move out of the way, and while checking for updates for Paulicus Poison Block, I saw a link to this one and voila! Two birds one stone. I disabled the other parts of the mod because they don't play well with my LO, but this is still great.
Regarding the Dark Shadows feature, would you be able to explain what it does differently than vanilla sneaking mechanics? To my knowledge, chances of being seen based on lighting are apart of base game.

These ideas are pretty nifty. Shame the overhaul didn't work out. Do you think you could add a new global to toggle off the Shadows ability? I want to use the poison and disease protection without the sneak adjustments, but they seem to be linked to the same global. Edit: Seems the global already exists, but Shadows was mistakenly linked to Coverface instead of the global that was apparently intended for it. But it would also be nice to have a global for Strength Through Experience, since I don't think every character should be able to punch hard just because they're high-level.
I picked up the pieces of the overhaul; I got most of it working again. I doubt that I'll upload it ever, there is so much that I've added over the years I'd have difficulty making a description
I'll add a Punchy global to the fist boost, the main reason I added it was that unarmed is very overlooked and a brawl at a high level or vs a highly armored opponent can be a slog fest (esp in the main overhaul which dramatically affects both the damage of weapons and protection of armor)

I renamed the downloaded mod file to "mrjentipede's Remnants of a Broken Overhaul SE" to be sure I remember all your contributions!
