I was working on a gameplay improvement and balance overhaul but I flew too high and after a point it would CTD me on main menu despite everything being good on TES5Edit so I pulled out an old version and trimmed the fat of things that other mods have done or try to do. I think these are the core features people will most want.
There are no scripts, it uses mechanics found in vanilla Skyrim.
No DLC required.
Spell Perk Item Distributor SPID required for this to affect NPCs (recommended)
Remnants of a Broken Overhaul features:
Get out of the way aka Linebacker - running/sprinting will knock small animals out of your way
Reduced carry weight no conflict - reduces player carry weight without any mod conflicts (race and player unedited)
Cover your face - blocking with shield prevents poison and disease from being inflicted, blocking without shield but with gauntlets reduces risk of poison and disease
Dark shadows - crouching down in dark areas reduces chances of being seen
Magic is hard - -45 magicka for starting players, -25 once you have 25 in any magic school then no reduction above 50
Strength through experience - adds unarmed damage based on level, can help if mods make armor significantly reduce damage and turn a brawl into an hour-long slog
Fast Shout - decreases shout recovery by 80%
All can be disabled with console, use set ___ to 0
Values include Linebacker, Coverface, Shadows, HardMagic, WeakCarry, Punchy, FastShout
All can be added to NPC's if you use po3_SpellPerkItemDistributor, INI already included in zip
Make sure it is ticked in your load order and position does not matter - there will be no conflicts.
