Not required but highly recommended to avoid some known issues with Bat Form power I would install this two mods along with Dark-Envoy:

    AS REQUESTED:

    • Shadow pack is TOGGEABLE, one you unlock them use the power to toggle them on and off.
    • Bat travel now teleports to more secluded areas for immersion purposes. Also as mentioned in the description it let's you save up to 6 personal markers to teleport.

TLDR: Download this mod, there's no reason not to and it adds a whole bunch of awesome stuff for vampires. Just use it. Seriously. Read on for a more in-depth review (spoiler free).

For anyone worried about compatibility, the short version is that I'm pretty sure it's compatible with basically everything. The only mods that might not jive well with Dark Envoy are any mods that change a narrow strip of the cliffside along the road leaving southeast from Dragon Bridge (close to that big bandit roadblock but not quite that far) since Dark Envoy puts a cave there but I can't think of anything that does that off the top of my head so you should be fine. I did a lot of testing (just to be safe) with some of the more popular Vampire related mods out there and here's what I found if you're curious:

    • Better Vampires/Sacrosanct:  Compatible! No worries here, all the powers stand on their own and compliment these awesome mods very nicely.
    • "Bat Travel Vampire Power" by DidymusEi (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20730): Compatible! I was worried about both mods adding very similar features (the power to transform into a cloud of bats to fly freely around Tamriel and the power to transform into a cloud of bats to fast travel) but there doesn't appear to be any issues. This mod's 'fly' power actually works better than the one from Bat Travel Vampire Power because it doesn't have as much input lag but what holds me back from using its 'fast travel' poewr is the fact that it doesn't let me save custom travel points like with Bat Travel Vampire Power. Unlike with Bat Travel Vampire Power, however, this mod doesn't require you to join the Volkihar to gain access to the powers without using the Console so that's a definite selling point.
    • "Castle Volkihar Rebuilt" by Arthmoor (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/324): Compatible! This mod doesn't change anything in Castle Volkihar besides adding an activatable to the Molag Bal altar in the shrine where you and Serana confront Harkon at the end of the DLC so there's absolutely no conflicts!
    • "Wintersun: Faiths of Skyrim" by EnaiSiaion (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22506): Compatible! This was a bit confusing at first because I've used Wintersun for so long but the Molag Bal shrine added by EnaiSiaion's mod isn't the same one talked about in this mod. The shrine this mod refers to is the one Harkon already had in the castle in the room where you and Serana fight him. There's no conflict whatsoever! (For anyone wondering, Wintersun is compatible with Castle Volkihar Rebuilt as well since the latter mod doesn't really make any changes to the so-called 'throne room' where the Volkihar NPCs hang out).

Things I love about this mod:

    • ESO Reference: It's subtle and you probably won't get it if you haven't played ESO but the "Gate of Coldharbour" power, which opens a portal to Coldharbour and calls a whole bunch of daedra to fight for you, is only useable outdoors because it rains the summoned daedra down to the ground as flaming meteors just like how they drop from the Dark Anchors in ESO. It's subtle but an awesome reference that really adds to the mod for me!
    • Clever Use of In-Game Voice Files: To gain the powers you need to pray to Molag Bal. Of course, being the Lord of Domination, he's not going to simply give them away, not even to a powerful vampire such as yourself, so you're going to have to earn them in a trial by combat. It would have been easy to just make the quest unvoiced or used text popups to tell the story but instead the mod author weaved together the existing in-game Molag Bal voice lines (from the House of Horrors quest in Markarth) masterfully. You really get the sense that the Father of Vampires is testing you to see if you're worthy of the power you seek and that, when you succeed, the price may have been too high...
    • The Powers: These powers are seriously cool. It's best if you experience them for yourself but you really get the sense that Molag Bal has chosen you to be his new chosen vampire lord on Tamriel and bestowed upon you the same power he gave to Harkon millennia ago in their dark bargain. When combined with an overhaul mod like Sacrosanct or Better Vampires, you really get the sense that your powers have grown exponentially and that you've truly become Harkon's equal! They're a ton of fun and really powerful, which is why it's awesome that the mod gives you the option to wait until level 50 to get them in stages or immediately after the quest as well as how strong you want them to be (balanced or really powerful).
Things I don't  love about this mod:

    • More People Don't Know About It: Seriously, why hasn't this mod gotten more attention? It's well made, well balanced, compatible with everything I've tested it against, and adds some very very cool powers to the game that will definitely enhance anyone's vampire playthrough.

There's literally no reason not to Download this mod, then Endorse it, then Vote for it to be front-paged because it's awesome.

    Good evening, Kata!

Regarding your mod being on PlayStation. We have got the user to take it down.

My name is Mikey. I am friends with Kittytail, BeVeryOfA, Unorthodogg, Tommas (TK), etc. I am a representative of a large modding group that modders from all over decided to help PlayStation receive a better experience. We mainly operate on the fairly large Discord server I own, which you are invited to. I am not a modder, but I manage the community of modders, players, porters. Etc. Before even starting this group, we have looked over the TOS for Bethesda.net (under Zenimax Media) and for PlayStation and neither have any statement regarding external assets. We have some of our porters who interact with the modding community on Bethesda's official Discord channel. Some may not like what they do, but some are actively supportive and give permissions for their mods to be put on PlayStation.

I would like to extend a friendly hand and invite you to speak about this matter. First off, I would like to apologize about all of the PS users coming to you about the textures not showing up. I know that can get immensely stressful. Your mod was ported by one of our porters because they saw on your permissions that it had "open permissions but to give credits." They decided to upload it to see if it would work. The scripts indeed did but not the textures because in the group's infancy, they didn't know how to do so. I would like to add that now, they have figured out how to get textures working. To ensure something like this doesn't happen anymore, we have instructed every new porter to ask for permissions, even if the mod is open.

Ever since you have expressed your displeasure with your work being ported, we have asked the porter to take it down. But it seems he's gone on a long hiatus the last few months. And we had not been able to contact him for the longest until now. For that, I am very sorry. I don't want the actions of one misunderstood individual to reflect our entire group.

I want to make it clear that I am not here to ask for permssions because you've already said no. And no means no. I just want to let you know that I apologize for the whole misunderstanding and would like to talk things out with you. Again, I am not a modder or a porter. So I don't know the exact process. But I do know that we require all porters under our umbrella to receive permissions and provide proof that the permissions are open. I myself, have received permissions before. It never hurts to ask. The worst you can get is a no. If there's any questions you have or proof you need, you can contact me on Discord for the fastest response @ ayythatsmikey and I'll send it all to you there. I'm a little new to Nexus since our group is new but through Discord, I have all the proof you could need ready.

I normally have friend requests and messages closed for security reasons but I will leave them open for you should you decide to reach out. I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for your time and your awesome mods,

    Mikey

      Hi Mikey,

Thank you very much for your kind and respectful message — I really appreciate the transparency and the care you've shown in handling the situation.

I’m happy to confirm that you (and your group) have my full public permission to port this mod — and any other mods I've done in the past and may make in the future — to PlayStation, as long as you continue to provide support for those ports. I’d just ask that it’s clearly stated in the mod description that I’m not able to offer help for any issues that may arise, and that users should reach out to your team for support.
That clarity makes a big difference and saves a lot of confusion for frustrated players that come for help. I’m glad you’re taking steps to ensure permission is always sought going forward — it means a lot :).

Thanks again for reaching out so respectfully, and for the work you’re doing to improve the PS modding experience. Wishing you and the group all the best.
      – Kata

No, provided you download the new file. The other one was a test. With KataPUMB's permissions, team fixed it and got rid of the old upload. Delete the old upload and re-download the new.

I tried your Dark Envoy mod on ps4 and it's AWESOME. I wanted to ask you if you knew of any solutions for when I fly in bat form, basically in 3rd person you see rectangles as if it were censored so to speak, do you have any advice? Also I wanted to compliment you again, and if you ever happen to touch up the texture of the eyes for vampires or make a mod similar to dark envoy only with the Death Eater type flight mode that would be really cool. I'm waiting for your answer, I wanted to write to you on discord but it won't let me access the invitation

Rectangles = Something missing or not in it's right place.
Try removing and redownloading, if that doesn't fix it, might be a PS issue with something Sony not allowing the mod to have, a mesh or a texture.

Copy-pasting content into the Creation Kit isn’t the same as properly porting a mod—that part was off from the start. That said, I’ve received a very reasonable request from Mr. Mike here, and I’m open to working with that. The real issue is that there was no heads-up, and suddenly I had players coming to me for support with PS5-related problems, even though I never actually ported the mod to that platform.

Best mod ever. If I have to choose one only mod for Skyrim: Dark envoy no question ask.

I play with this mod for more that 6 years .. Xbox then PC.

I have only one question: We can choose between balance, powerfull, with no perk. I still dont understand the difference between each options. Someone can explain the difference ? For all those years I didn't notice any difference.

It changes the base power of all spells.

      • No perk: means no increase in damage
      • Balanced: means it increases the damage of the spells based on your level
      • Powerful: means it greatly increases the damage of the spells based on your level

Hey can you add "Recall" to the Bat Travel ability?
In someone else's Bat Travel mod, you can bat travel back to a previous location.
Also. can you add The Vampire Lord's Vampiric Drain-Life for human form?
Only make it a little more explosive on impact with that red smoke cloud
