I'm not sure; perhaps you could test it out and report back? I've never used Arthmoor's Rorikstead mod... my mod was made for the original (non SE) version of Skyrim years before Arthmoor released his Rorikstead mod, so compatibility with it was never a consideration when originally making this mod.
This mod no longer seems to be compatible with Expanded Towns and Cities. Lokir's house seems to be sitting on a smelter and it's stairs seem to be merged with those of the house next door.
it seems a little out of place that in his note he admits hes never been the fastest runner, but says "you'll never catch me" to the guards at the start of the game?
Perhaps the desperate situation he was in caused a lack of judgement when he decided (very unwisely) to try to outrun a bunch of guards, including archers!
I agree. We have a tendency to paint the entire character of fictional characters based on one or two lines of dialogue, which is (in my opinion) a bad reading. Star Wars fans are very guilty of this. We speak and act out of character all the time, and characters with any depth will do the same. Clearly, Lokir was in an adrenaline-fueled state and panicked. His body language and tone of voice tell us more than his words.
Depending on which alternate start option/mod you use, if Helgen still gets destroyed by Alduin, etc., one would assume Lokir would've still been on that carriage regardless of whether or not you were there. Probably beyond the scope of this mod, but it'd be interesting if he "replaced" you as being the one escaping from there with Hadvar/Ralof and shows up at his house when you're there.
