Am I to understand that this patch *always* applies the changed descriptions, even if Hardcore mode isn't being used? That seems to be how it's behaving. I'm not using SPERG's Hardcore mode, but I installed this preemptively in case I ever did choose to try it, assuming that it would only change the descriptions if it was warranted, i.e. only change them if I am actually using Hardcore mode. It's not behaving that way... it seems that it just blindly applies the changes even if Hardcore mode isn't active.

That's one more description that needs to be changed: the one on the front page of this mod. This behavior needs to be stated more explicitly than "don't forget to enable Hardcore mode".

Wow, the mode really nerfs things a lot. I mean when a perk says it activates 1.25% of the time it might as well not exist. But luckily I think only one perk is quite that low. And yet I'm annoyed that Purse Snatcher wasn't nerfed at all. A 30% speed boost is just too much, I've found. I was hoping hardcore mode would cut it in half.

But anyway, a "bug" report: After installing this mod, it seems, when you activate an enchanting table and it gives you the option to Craft or Enchant, the two words got switched. It used to say Craft on the left and Enchant on the right, but now it says Enchant on the left and Craft on the right, so now they lead to the wrong thing.

I really like this mod. However I have run into a problem. I am unable to upgrade magical weapons and armor even after taking the perk.

Edit: It looks like I can upgrade some magic things, just not named items. Such as the Masque of Claudius Vile.

I've been waiting for this, thanks!
Btw, do I really need to start a new game for the hardcore perks to work? If that's the case, I don't get why it was added as a MCM option instead of an alternate plugin...

      New game is not needed.
Option in MCM only make perks hardcore, but dont change their descriptions.

Is this mod comprehensive, as in covering all changes made by the hardcore option? It's an initial release, so I don't expect it to be, but confirmation would be good to have so I know whether to check back for updates later on in my play through! Good idea anyway, will be using it!

Have gone trought all skills and changed all perks which needed description fix. Playing now as twohanded warrior, got 50 level and all is working as in description. There is a small chance that I missed something, but I`ll fix it if found.
