Shuffler90's 4k elk & deer retexture by Shuffler90
This is a retexture mod of the elk and deers in skyrim.
It is still a work in progress and will be updated soon.
Right now only the elk_male & elk_female are done.
The deer will follow in the next update.
I will also add new variants with a more fluffy fur for the elk_male.
Changelog v1.00: 04.03.2018
- new textures (V01, V02, V03 for each gender)
- different resolutions (1k, 2k and 4k are available)
- "Elkbody.dds" is splitted into "ElkbodyM.dds"- for male and "ElkbodyF.dds"- for female to decide gender specific
- "ElkbodyM.dds" & "ElkbodyF.dds" are compressed to bc7 8bpp Fast (Linear, DX11+) - probably not compatible with gimp for now
- "Elkbody_n.dds" is not edited (vanilla normalmap is 2048x2048) - (maybe a custom normalmap will come in future updates)
- edited "elk_maleskin.nif" & "elk_femaleskin.nif" to reduce the specularity
and prevent a plastic looking skin
- edited "elk_maleskin.nif" & "elk_femaleskin.nif" to assign new renamed textures
- 57 BSTriShape -> DeerBase02:1 [43] (extra fur for elk_male) was removed for now
and will be readded as a custom version in future updates.
- Installer added for each resolution (ready for NexusModManager and Vortex)
