About this mod
This mod adds a unique amulet that is found on Vigilant Tyranus. It offers more boons than a regular amulet of Stendarr to those who are blessed, although one must live vicariously through Stendarr's tenets for it to work . The amulet, combined with worshipping Stendarr, will also boost Tyranus' Paladin armor!
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Waking Nightmare quest change: Stendarr's Judgement triggers if Erandur is dead instead of checking for quest completion. Now you can do this quest and destroy the staff without triggering Judgement
- Reversed Pelagius' Wing allowance. Now, that quest will trigger Judgement. Even though the player doesn't know its a Daedric quest, RP it by hearing a voice in your head and it's Stendarr telling you not to enter the wing :D
- Vampire armor will now trigger Judgement
- UndeadSummon Magic effect now triggers Judgement (using raise dead magic either via staffs/scrolls, summon skeletal soldiers, etc...) So don't summon ANYTHING when using this amulet!
- added Legendary blacksmithing condition to Paladin armor. Now, that perk is required to temper it.
- Completing stage 25 of 'The Silver Hand' quest will trigger Judgement. This way, previous werewolves cannot be Stendarr's truest champion just like Volkihar members cannot have aedric blessings.
- Changed Paladin boots to have +50 Carry Weight instead of -25% power attack cost
Stendarr's Mercy - a unique Amulet of Stendarr with additional, divine boons added to Tyranus which also increases the power of his Paladin armor set (see below). These boons are only present when the user is blessed by Stendarr and is actively following Stendarr's tenets.
Restrictions:
- Completion of ANY Daedric quest other than helping Erandur destroy the Skull of Corruption will result in the amulet burning you.
- Similarly, wielding/wearing/using ANY Daedric item while amulet is equipped will result in burning. This includes Amber & Madness materials, Vampire armor, Stonefire set, Battlemage set, etc...
- Taking the rewards offered at the end of Hermaeus Mora's Black Books in Solstheim will result in burning as well (yes, you can complete the book and get the free skill point but taking the power will result in punishment).
- Using summon Daedra or summon undead scrolls/staves will result in burning! Stendarr's blessing requires you to not take the novice Conjuration perk yet these staffs/scrolls are available to be used without punishment. This will not be the case for when the amulet is worn.
- Armor penetration remains the same as standard Amulets of Stendarr, scaling once with blessing and once more for capstone completion
- Decreases physical damage taken by 10%, increases to 15% with capstone
- Increases magic resistance by 10%, increases to 15% with capstone
- Increases movement speed by 4%, increases to 6% with capstone
- (Capstone to make the amulet its strongest involves completing either Laid to Rest or Dark Ancestor)

*remember that you need both the blessing of Stendarr and the unique amulet equipped for this armor boost - the amulet, however, will always be active if worshipping Stendarr and following the tenets so you CAN rock the amulet with other armor sets if you want! Completing a Daedric quest, for example, permanently locks you out of using the amulet due to the burning. Remember that this mod requires your upmost awareness and care for your morality; if you can focus on it, you can reap the sweet, divine rewards!*
So why would I lock myself out of powerful Daedric items and especially the Ohgma Infinium for an amulet and a hyper-specific armor buff?
Well, I like hardcore RP and tough decisions. If you are willing to be Stendarr's champion, why not go the extra mile and play ultra virtuous? Why not don yourself in his most powerful Vigilant's armor while wearing an amulet that is utterly unique? If the influence of evil is that strong then clearly this power was never meant for your character! Only those desiring unwavering fealty for the God of Mercy and an ambition to live as virtuously as possible in Skyrim deserve these rewards.
Stendarr is one of the very few Aedric Gods who's influence is so physical on Skyrim. This is because of the Vigilants that you see, and House of Horrors gives you perspective on their inclination to hunt Daedra. All of this influence but we rarely get an interaction with them, why? Well, I did the best I could to help with that. This gives 3tweak players an opportunity to immerse themselves more on their Stendarr-blessed characters and perhaps take an ultra virtuous journey. Stendarr currently does not bar you from his blessing for taking and using Daedric items, unlike Jyggalag who will take away your blessing for having Daedric items. I felt like their should be some reward for roleplaying a Vigilant perfectly and never consorting with Daedra at all!
The restrictions I had put in place to make this mod what it is gives reason to the armor changes as well. It looks pretty frickin strong, right? Well, think of what you are losing to get it and doing to gain it at max power. You are losing Ohgma Infinium, any potential Daedric artifacts you could make use of, Daedric items like Daedric armor and weapons, black book rewards, etc... Taking away all of those buffs would not have been worth it for just one amulet with some magic resist, physical damage reduction and movement speed. This is why I superjuiced the Paladin set. Also, I wanted a reason to wear Vigilant armor for an entire playthrough instead of just defaulting to Dawnguard heavy. Now, you can look swag as heck in your decked out, Stendarr-blessed Paladin armor for your entire playthrough and live vicariously through His precepts in the process.
This does not mean you MUST wear the Paladin set. The amulet is still great and could be used on any ultra-virtuous Stendarr build. The armor is just a cherry on top for those who want to look like real Paladins for their entire playthrough. If you do not desire this and want to use other armor sets, great! The amulet is still very strong with what it offers and is a great endgame amulet choice.
- Dtweaks for his Stendarr-blessing change (Changes one boon and adds a 2nd quest able to be completed for Stendarr capstone - the 2nd quest he added is mentioned in the Stendarr's Mercy enchantment explanation above)
- Greed's changes to Tyranus' Greatsword which can be found in: Skyrim Requiem discord -> 3Tweaks Separator -> Suggestions text channel -> Tyranus Greatsword Buff and Model Replacer
