This looks absolutely amazing! Out of curiosity, how accurate did you make the collision shape compared to the actual blade model? Reason I’m asking is because the collision shape makes a HUGE difference when playing in VR if the collision matches the model
I was able to open it in nifscope. The collision shape is a skinny long rectangle which isn’t an issue for flat screen. I was able to make a collision that matches the blade. Now my pokes and prods are accurate 🤗
This sword is absolutely SICK in your hand in VR by the way.
Looks good, might be a nice replacement for the less lore-friendly version from Skyrim's Unique Treasures 'Ichigo Kurosaki's Sword'. Or even just a model swap for that mod. based on the user images, might need to resize it a little to fit in the hands of characters from Skyrim. But it looks great nonetheless.
This isn't Zangetsu, but rather Confuso, a weapon for Verso in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Confuso is very clearly a reference to Zangetsu, though, and there's another weapon in CO E33 that heavily resembles another weapon from Bleach, Sode no Shirayuki, Rukia's weapon.
Regardless of semantics, this is beautifully done and I commend your work.
Edit: Probably should have read your actual description, as you mentioned outright that it was the model used in expedition 33. Whoops lol my bad.
Well it’s not the model from the game I did make my own model of it. But yes what you said is correct. I termed it dark zangetsu because 33 is kinda dark fantasy and I felt the original zangetsu was to simple of a design to be interesting to model but I really like this one a lot. I think the guy who came up with it did a great job.
Eventually, I will add it to Oblivion Remastered, still working out the process. I try to spread out what I make to different games that I enjoy, seems kinda wasteful not to. I eventually have to move over some BG3 weapons I made, but they don't have scabbards, so I need to stop being lazy and model them. Anyway thanks :)
