   fricken hell, in 2024 I didn't fricken realise I needed this fix because I use XP32 styles :| and was bloody trying to work out why I was crashing when I was trying to use this dumb sword lol
   thanks so much for the fix ; w ; its working as inteded even after for so long

   I know this is an old mod and old threads but it is still needed in Skyrim AE 1.6.1170 with latest version of XP32 and not using Joy of Perspective?

   This fixed the issue with it whilst using joy of perspective, which was the cause of my crashes after sheathing the sword. To clarify I am using XP32 and Joy of Perspective together. Cheers

      I'm glad it worked for you.  I never tried it with Joy of Perspective, but I think the main issue was the sword not playing nicely with XP32.

    This is exactly what I needed, thank you. I was using Joy of Perspective as well, if that matters.
