This mod adds a light armour helmet for all races, then - optionally via SkyPatcher, randomly distributes it to NPCs, merchants and loots.
Technically, this is a porting to Skyrim of the beautiful EF Bone Helmet model by Eternal Force.
Distribution via SkyPatcher is optional, and it applies randomly through nested leveled lists to actors of the Bandits and Forsworn factions. The pieces are pushed to the lists of blacksmiths and merchants as well, along with general helmet and loot lists. Just install the optional file for the distribution to happen.
What I have done is:
Credits for the original models go to Eternal Force. This model was entirely created by them. I've got all the required licenses (both the standard and interactive). As such, you cannot directly use the textures and you must have users download this mod if you wish to convert all or some pieces to different bodies: please keep this in mind and check the permissions section (unless, of course, you got the interactive/extended licenses yourself as well).

Q: BodySlide? Does this use a custom body?
A: No. But you can build non-SMP versions of the helmets and tweak positioning and dimensions for your custom character
Q: is SMP really necessary?
A: Not at all. It's just eye-candy for the helmet leather ponytail.
Q: Are these craftable?
A: Yes
Q: What about Khajiit and Argonians?
A: They will use their own variant to account for shape, ears, etc.

- porting of the Genesis 8 model from DAZ to Skyrim SE/AE
- conversion and retouching of the textures along with 3 alternate texture sets
- SMP
- plugin marked as Light
- SkyPatcher ini files
- made the helmets craftable

- Choose the texture resolution you prefer
- Add the mod via Vortex or install via MO2
- Install the optional file for SkyPatcher distribution
- Textures are in BSA archive
