Is there any way to make solitude castle interior a little lightweight? that's the only problem for me since entering blue castle is really a laggy experience for me.
BOS is the only requirement if using the masters removed version. BOS makes sure the meshes aren't overriden espescially for vortex users. The mod was designed to work with placed light which requires light placer and CS. DIAL is a soft requirement to complete the intended look. Also Lux only requires Lux Via resources.

I`ve stuck with one problem: standing on the same place, in one camera position the shadows from windows appears on the floor, but if you turn camera a bit, shadow disappears. It`s very strange, because this situation happens near different windows (walls` meshes which you`ve changed). I`ve installed all the requirements of your mod and even turn on the SkyPatcher, which is in the requirements for DIAL, no matter that before I haven`t it and didn`t need it. I have no camera mods, and no lighting mods except Placed Light and yours for interiors. Testing on the clear profile only with all the CS block enabled, PL hub and your mod with requirements have shown the same problem. It`s not Mrf`s overhaul, because I manually pick all your meshes, change texture paths in them to match the Mrf`s, left for these meshes the original names (ws_*.nif), put them to the folder, from which Mrf`s mod can read them and change with the patch for Mrf the mesh`s paths for each needed ID by your names. This task, by the way, fixed the situation, when I had on Mrf interiors just a complete lightened spot on the floor without the window glass pattern. I remember that the same problem I`ve stucked in completely vanilla (without overhauls) place before, when I try to install Window Shadows RT - Updated v 1.4, and since that return to the the old classic Window Shadows RT (beta) v RTbeta5.
What I`m doing wrong? Please, I`d be very appreciated for any advice and answer!
Didn`t help( I even take the new version for CS Lights, not only PL... By the way, when installing CS Lights, generally, should I pick up the version with windows or without (there are configs, I saw, not only for exteriors but for interiors too). Before it blocked the work of old Window Shadows RT (beta), so I use without interior windows version.
After deep tests, seems that this shadow clipping happens only in one location - solitude`s Bard`s College. The meshes in front of which this happens: ws_slgcwalwin01.nif ws_smdcwinsol03.nif Just these two so far, as I see. If the problem is not with meshes, mb there are any fixes mod with Solitude windows or lighting or whatever? Mb all know about them, use them, and do not see this bug, but I`m not and have this pain? Please, suggest smth because my perfectionist is crying with blood tears!
The problem seems that was in Bards Reborn Student of Song Become a Bard and Bards College Expansion which is in my modlist too. It was in PL [LightWhiteList] of its ini, as I`ve seen on PL page is suggested for all mods that adds new cells (in fact, BardsReborn do not add them, but modify, but my usual stupid tectic is to do more better than less...). As soon as I`ve moved it from whitelist to blacklist, shadows from windows become stable, not clipping. And the most mystic thing that in BardsReborn new interiors the light works as intended... Idk why and how it works, but let it be so! Mb smbdy with the same situation this workaround will help, so I left it here. The only one issue is the dust in rays from windows disappeared (rays are present, only the dust). But exchanging dust for not clipping shadows from windows, I suppose, is not a much price)
I'm using JKs Blue Palace and keeps getting CTDs when entering the palace through the main door.. Tried entering from the side door and it worked until I moved my camera to the throne area and I got another ctd. Disabled JK Blue Palace and I can enter without problem. I mean I can sacrifice JK Blue Palace in order to use this beautiful mod for sure (and I'm guessing there's gonna be more JK patches) but I'm wondering if anyone has similar problem as I do 😭
To be honest I just wanted to know if anyone else got ctd when entering the palace since my modlist is messy and hanging by a thread through some miracle, but thank you in advance!
since I know JK's blue palace patch is still being worked on, I tried switching to Drengin's blue palace terrace instead and then I installed wsu and its patches (on a new save file). But I'm still getting CTD whenever I enter the palace. I can confirm that I can enter the palace if I disable either WSU or drengin's palace terrace. They just couldn't exist together (in my modlist at least)
This is not responsible. That crash at the front door is as old as the hills. Had it a ton of times before. Use the door to the side to enter the palace its much more stable
yea I've had those crashes before with blue palace. Also, side door worked but I got ctd as soon as I move my camera to the direction of the throne room 😞
@Zhyzhy3411 could be just something fucked about my installation of community shaders tbh. Or my 1660 Super just gives up whenever it got introduced to a combo of windows shadow + any blue palace replacers lmao
In any case, I'm gonna just turn off the palace's replacers and stick with WSU

Question about window sun rays and how they work within the ideas of this mod.
Dragonsreach for instance.. Main hall.
Lower windows have sun rays, windows above having sun shining through the same but no sun rays ?
