Features

  • Replaces player-defined items in containers/corpses by Unidentified Items. Once looted, you'll hear a "magical loot" sound and all unidentified items will be bound to your inventory

  • Identify all the Unidentified Items that you are carrying via Scrolls of Identify

  • Fully customizable: Choose which items will turn into Unidentified Items (via KID) and which NPCs will drop Scrolls of Identify (via SPID). Defaults:

    - 90% chance for enchanted weapons and armors to turn into Unidentified Items
    - Bandits have a 20% chance of carrying one Scroll of Identify
    - Optional file that distributes Scrolls of Identify to Court Wizards' merchant containers (via CDF)

  • Unidentified Items true forms persist between saves and are not randomized; its a 1:1 correspondence

Installation

  • Safe to install at any point
  • Uninstalling midgame is not recommended
  • ESL Flagged

Compatibility

  • Should be compatible with every Loot Overhaul, new/modded items and Quickloot system

Notes

  • Unidentified items are bound to your inventory, which means they are autolooted when closing current container's lootmenu if not manually looted
  • Unidentified items can't be dropped/sold/saved into a container. Once identified, they will behave as normally
  • Default Unidentified Item weight is 7. Can be modified via xEdit
  • Item stacks from the same container will be saved as one unit of Unidentified Item. When Identified, the stack size will be restored
  • Already identified items will turn into unidentified items if they are left in any container
  • "set _LUIIS_Debug to 1" command in order to show debug notifications
