I regret to announce that I am no longer supporting this mod. It has since been succeeded by powerofthree's Slayable/Savage Offspring SKSE, so please use that instead. Thank you for using this mod.
Sorry to publicly announce that I CANNOT support any issues with DynDoLOD and and its patcher conflicting with Immersive Children. I was not the main modder and coder of Immersive Children or the One ImCh Patcher as that was GarlantheGreat who did everything but unfortunately they are no longer modding at this time. Apologies to everyone having continuous issues between the two mods.
Hello everyone. I just wanna say first that I don't intend to return to Skyrim modding anytime soon. I guess this is pretty obvious though since I've been inactive for a few years and I haven't been responding to any messages. About that, I'm really sorry. Truth is, things in life got in the way of my modding, or maybe it's because I simply lost motivation to continue modding. I'm not afraid to admit that. Anyway, I'm just announcing here that since I'm obviously not continuing modding and that I'm no longer updating this mod, I'm going ahead and allowing permission to anyone to use, alter, update, etc. my mod in any non-monetary manner. Basically, as long as you're not using this mod to make money (that money should belong to Bethesda since this IS their game, regardless of how you may view them in an ethical sense), you may do things like update this, change it, bring it over to Fallout 4, whatever. I have just one condition for this though: don't forget to credit me, matortheeternal for the script I used, and Bethesda for Skyrim.
I guess one last thing I'd like to say is thank you to everyone who downloaded, endorsed, and enjoyed Immersive Children despite my inactivity. It really means a lot that some people actually cared about such tiny issues as child size scaling and similar issues arising from the child flag. Also, once again, sorry to those who messaged me and never received a reply. I really am sorry. Also, since I'm not really modding anymore (or at least anytime soon), don't hold any hope that I'll respond back to any posts or messages. I haven't responded to anything for the past few years, so why expect that now? Anyway, I hope you all keep enjoying modding and playing Skyrim, or hell, whatever other game you're playing. :)
Any mod that modifies and/or adds NPC races and furniture records is directly incompatible with Immersive Children but will be fixed if you install and run the One ImCh Patcher in SSEEdit.
Initially incompatible mods include Imperious, Racial Body Morphs, Disparity, SkyRe (Races Module), Ethereal Elven Overhaul, RS Children, TK Children, TKAA, Vilja, Inigo, Hoth, Recorder, Ambriel, Mirai, M'rissi, Kaidan, Song of the Green (Auri), Caesia, Anna NPCs 4.0, yadayadayada (some of these might be misrepresented but you can never be too sure...). Yeah, I'm not going to list every single mod out there so get the idea that any mods that do changes to vanilla races, change child appearances, add new playable races, add new NPCs, such as custom followers, that are actually a custom race, etc. is already incompatible with Immersive Children so please run the patcher if you are unsure about the preceding information.
Instructions on using the "MXPF - One ImCh Patcher" Pre-Step 1: If you haven't already done so because you never had a need for patching until now, install SSEEdit. Pre-Step 2: If you're not a mod manager user, navigate to the (Your Steam games installation directory)\Skyrim Special Edition\Data directory. Otherwise, search for where ever your mod manager placed the Immersive Children files. Pre-Step 3: Cut the "Edit Scripts" folder and paste it into the SSEEdit directory. Overwrite all if asked. Pre-Step 4: Use LOOT to sort your load order. VERY IMPORTANT. Pre-Step 5: Delete any patches previously created by the One ImCh Patcher beforehand.
Launch SSEEdit. (Launch via mod manager if you're a mod manager user.)
Press OK and wait until the "Background Loader: finished" message at the bottom shows up.
Click on any of the plugins you loaded on the left panel. Make sure the plugin is highlighted.
Right-click on the plugin name.
Select "Apply Script". A new window will pop up.
Near the top of the window, click the horizontally rectangular box next to "Script". A dropdown box listing different scripts will show up from it.
Scroll down (or up) the list of scripts until you find "MXPF - One ImCh Patcher".
Click on "MXPF - One ImCh Patcher". The dropdown box should disappear.
Click OK.
The window will disappear and a new, smaller window will appear asking you to type something. Name it anything but without '.esp'. I prefer to call the new patch "One ImCh Patcher" or "One ImCh Patch", but it's your choice.
Click OK and then wait until a message like "[Apply Script done] Processed Records: 39, Elapsed Time: 01:04" appears near the botton of the main window. Patching time will vary depending on your computer and load order. If you experience freezing, do not worry; this is a normal occurrence (this is likely due to the nature of RACE records possessing A LOT of information for SSEEdit to read).
Patch created!
Post-Step: Create a merged patch to ensure that all the edits you want for the patched records have been forwarded.
ALWAYS RERUN THE PATCHER WHEN ADDING OR REMOVING MODS FROM YOUR LOAD ORDER!!! (Delete the original patch then rerun the patching script to ensure all newly added plugins are taken into account.) Treat it like a Merged Patch or Bashed Patch but run it in this order:
One ImCh Patcher -> SSEMerged Patch -> Bashed Patch
Special note: Keep the patch created by the One ImCh Patcher near the bottom of your load order or, at least, below any plugins that include override records to records added to the created patch. DO NOT USE LOOT TO AUTO-SORT ITS PLACEMENT! LOOT IS STUPID AND WILL PLACE THE PATCH IN THE WRONG SPOT (ABOVE OTHER PLUGINS WITH OVERRIDE RECORDS)! Mod manager users should be able to "lock" the created patch at the bottom.
If you get this message: "MXPF Error: Can't call CopyRecordsToPatch, no records available." it means there are no records needing patching so you don't need to run the patcher for your current load order.
This mod changes the Interaction Keyword for many types of furniture from "ActorTypeNPC" to "IsAdultRace", which seems to be what is causing the problem. I had Jarls not sitting on thrones, NPCs not sleeping, and injured NPCs in Stormcloak/Impreiral camps and temples not using the bedrolls or healing alters in their respective location. Overwriting the change back to "ActorTypeNPC" solved the issue for me, but is still quite frustrating and I doubt we'll get a fix from the original mod author at this point.
Is there any good way to uninstall this mod mid-save, i keep trying to do the stuff from the instructions but nothing works, i might try manual instead? It crashed on startup after i uninstall it but it just breaks my NPCS so bad.
This mod changed the Breton and Orcs facial and body, when I disabled it there back to how they originally were, was this done on purpose or is it something else that’s causing it?
can anyone help me? i dunno what i missed, but i follow the instruction and eventually stuck on step 9th its said "ImCh.esm is not loaded. Please load it and re-run this patcher."
Still using this mod versus the newer version mainly due to how this mod also addresses furniture interaction. However, I'd like to remove the burial feature of this mod...would it be as simple as hiding this script: ImCh_WIDeadBodyCleanupScript.pex and ImCh_WIDeadBodyCleanupScript.psc?
Main reason is this might be causing game freezes similar to how the vanilla WIDeadBodyCleanupScript might also cause issues with heavily modded Skyrim. See https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/124724 for example.
Did you figure it out? If not, open sseedit load your, plugins, highlight and right click one and hit the apply script. Then look for the one imch patcher in the drop down box and then click ok. Name it something and wait for it to finish save and close. I use vortex so I have to enable and then lock the plugin to the bottom as well.
How do i delete a dynamic patch I created Im uninstalling all my mods Because of a problem Ive looked through LOOT SSEEDIT and the MM But I cant figure out how to delete it
Tried this mod to shut the stupid kid up in the Battle-Born house before he calls the guards on me for murdering his entire family (why would he do this?) and he is still immortal. KC SSE does the same shit. Imagine being a mod author that makes a mod that doesn't change anything. A f*#@ing PLUS
Hey buddy no need to be so toxic :(, this mod hasn't been updated in over a year just so you know. 1.6.1170 broke mod code, so if youre playing on that and want this to work, i suggest downgrading to 640. EDIT: Reading the latest announcement informs you this mod is no longer supported. If you want kids to die, Get the "Savage Offspring" mod from powerofthree. Optionally you can also get "Slayable Offspring" so they try defending themselves. Pair this with the lightweight version of this mod (adds urns) and you are GOLDEN.
