About this mod

An ESL-flagged plugin that just does three things: makes the "Light" versions need the Glass Smithing perk instead of Ebony; swaps out Ebony for Malachite in all Light recipes and tempering, leaving all other original mod's requirements intact; and blanks out the DESC field from the Legendary pieces so you don't have to blindly enchant them!

Volkihar Knight Armor is awesome but has some odd quirks that irked me, so i fixed 'em, coz i don't like quirks that irk.

  • You went to enchant the Legendary pieces then realized the description of its power blocked your enchant values from showing, right? I'm guaranteed to screw it up if I can't verify the enchant is coming out as expected, so I blanked out the DESC field from all Legendary pieces; now they will show up properly at the Enchant table like everything else, so when you see a crap number you can stop and realize you forgot to pop your potion before you ruin it :D
  • Original mod used Ebony smithing for everything and called it a day. Now the Light versions use, of course, the Glass Smithing perk instead. Anywhere the Light versions wanted an Ebony ingot it was swapped for Refined Malachite. All other original mats and requirements were left intact.
  • Changes are for Legendary and crafted versions, and apply to both crafting and tempering.
  • Sorry if you've already had to spend perks points on Ebony to make your light armor, but better late than never eh?
