About this mod
This mod adds a set of heavy armor for the lone wanderer. The freehand is like a freelancer, but where the freelancer works independently, the freehand lives independently, like a nomad. In other words, a good set for your murderhobo. Optional SMP and 4k textures. BHUNP, 3BA, HIMBO support. Supports beast races.

This mod adds four pieces of armor and one piece of clothing to the game. You can smith these items with the Advanced Armors perk and find them where steel armor might appear.
The pieces added by this mod are:
-Freehand Cuirass
-Freehand Gauntlets
-Freehand Greaves
-Freehand Armet
-Freehand Scarf
The strings, flask, and skirt have enabled SMP. If you do not want to use SMP, use any of the conversions supplied on this page to build the meshes for the outfit without SMP-enabled physics, instead of deleting the .xml file. By default, the mod ships with SMP.
This mod comes with 2k cuirass textures by default with an optional download for 4k textures. Gauntlets, Helmet, Scarf and Greaves textures are half-size. (1k main, 2k in the high res file)
This armor is called the freehand armor because I did not make a sketch or even started with a single idea, i just went and drew the first thing that came to mind (in blender using the annotation tool lol) and sculpted that. One might find a resemblance to one Dark Souls outfit: this is purely incidental.
Installation note:
When installing, be sure to download a conversion for the appropriate body and build the meshes. The meshes the mod comes with are just bodyslide output files, so any changes introduced by my updating of the conversions in the optional files will not carry forward. This means rebuilding meshes in bodyslide is a soft requirement!
