    I am one of those people this mod doesnt work for, and I am sure it's a user error, but I can't for the love of talos figure out what I have done wrong. I have nothing else touching the Thieves Guild, I am using the Missing Follower Dialogue Edit and I have RDO. That's the mods I can imagine interfering with this one. Does anyone have any tips about correct/incorrect load order or incompatibilities? USSEP version here :)

      I know this is old, but I'm running the non-USSEP version and it's been working okay. Sometimes on the numbers job I have to request it twice, and if you are running any new worlds the game itself might send you to some strange town you haven't even heard of yet, but that's the game -  it just works lol. USSEP's page has quite a few bug complaints when I was there tonight, so I don't know. I don't use that one.

      Thank you for posting this here! It's good to know that running the non-USSEP version is the thing to do to have the mod working.

    Can confirm the extra jobs from this mod all count towards ''unlocking'' a town.

    I've been using this mod for years and never had any issues. Though since the update to 1.6.1170 I can't complete the numbers job, at least not under certain circumstances. It's just this particular job. All others work fine as usual. The interesting thing is, if I do the numbers job right after I get it, it works. As soon as I do another job/quest before, I can no longer complete it the numbers job, which means, I cannot make changes to the ledgers.

    I cleaned the mod with SSEedit and quck clean, I tried both, the USSEP and non USSEP version. I have no clue why this happens.
    I mean, I can live without the numbers job but if anyone has an idea what causes this issue , please let me know.

    Thanks!

      I have the same issue and did not have this mod installed. The culprit is elsewhere

      Have you tried abandoning the quest and re-requesting it? The numbers job is just f'ing weird honestly lol. I swear sometimes in the vanilla game I have to ask for it twice.

      thanks @Revan410 I suspected that, thanks for the confirmation!
      @anathemastudio I did everything I could think of. what I found out was that as soon as I save and quit the game, and then restart it, the quest is gone...
      I don't think it has anything to do with the mod itself. As I said, I've been using this for years, it's probably a skyrim update that's causing it....
      Edit: I am on 1.6.1170.0

      just an update. I started a new game with less mods and the numbers job works fine. It has to be one of the mods I am not currently using. If I find the time I will check that and come back with an update. But it will take a while :)

    The new USSEP breaks this mod even with the compatible version. It's almost like that team has joined Bethesda in trying to break as much as possible.

    It lets me ask for multiple quest, but half of them dont show up on the map, and I cant complete them. Idk if its a load order thing or conflicting mod,.

    EDIT: Working for the most part, but every time I save the game and load it back up the numbers job is no longer completable and I have to quit it and start a new one. Idk if its my mods or just this mod.

      Are you running any new world mods? If you are, SSE-AE will include those worlds in its choices for where to send you on a quest (even if you haven't been there before). Can't tell ya how many times I got sent to Bruma when I hadn't even started BS yet lol.

      The numbers job sometimes I have to ask more than once for it to take and start correctly, but I've seen that in reg SSE-AE too. I'm running the version of this mod that doesn't require USSEP, if that helps.

    It worked for me but the next day i couldnt resume playing, destroyed my savegame and all autosaves, had to replay 5 hours.

    Be careful using the mod...

      Are you using the USSEP?
      This mod has a version that requires that, and a version that doesn't. On USSEP page there seems to be a good amount of bugs. I don't know if it's related, but I haven't had really any major problems with this mod except for *sometimes* the Numbers job doesn't show in journal (but I've seen that in reg SSE-AE too). So I just request the quest again and the second time it takes okay. Besides that, I haven't had any issues. I'm using the version that *doesn't* require USSEP. Don't know if that helps but there it is...

    This mod hasn't worked properly since it was uploaded in 2018, it works for some, it doesnt work for others. If youre having issues with this mod, its the mod. Not you. Sometimes the mod works perfectly fine, however, whoever made it didnt bother to fix ANY of the issues people had with the mod.  My advice, download the mod and get ready to fix it yourself. zero updates after uploading 5 years later is a littler ridiculous lmao and this is the only mod like this

      This mod is extremely simple, says exactly what it does, and hasn't updated in five years because nothing else can possibly be done with the concept and no official updates have affected it. The mod's finished, man. It doesn't need any updates.

      If this mod isn't working for you, it is absolutely caused by a local mod conflict. Either something else is directly overriding this mod's dialogue changes, which is a very easy fix in SSEEdit(or sometimes your load order but that's more risky), or something else is doing some kind of complicated fuckery to bypass these dialogue lines, which might be harder to fix.

      The fact that it works for some people but not others is a pretty strong sign that it is in fact user error, and not the mod itself.

      The fact that this mod has:
      --> 10,421 Endorsements
      --> 457,128 unique downloads
      --> 1,146,325 total downloads
      and you're the only one who can't get this mod to work, is a massive indicator that you don't know how to:
      1. Properly install Mods
      2. Use SSEedit
      3. Know how to use WryeBash and make a bashed patch.

      Were you magically born with a full concept and understanding of modding, OR did you learn by asking questions and making mistakes?

    What is the 125 quest completion refer to? My understanding is that these quests are endless and that you have to complete five of them in each city (giving you a special quest for each) in order to build back up the thieves guild.
    1. Think it refers to the extra items that you get at certain completion amounts that get displayed like the quest items that you can sell to devaine
