If you're tired of the same old main menu of Skyrim, you've come to the right place. Since its release right through to Special Edition, Skyrim has had the same boring main menu and many have tried to spruce things up a little. This mod provides a selection of menu backgrounds along with the option to remove the fog or even change fit to snow.

Since its release right through to Special Edition, Skyrim has had the same boring main menu and many have tried to spruce things up a little. This mod provides a selection of menu backgrounds along with the option to remove the fog or even change fit to snow.
With the use of a FOMOD installer, you can mix and match effects and music with menu backgrounds. In addition to the standard aspect ratio of 19:9, I've also included 21:10 (or 21:9) versions for those like me now using an ultrawide monitor to play Skyrim. I've made adjustments to M3rcurymorbid's ultrawide mod and resource as I found although the images fit on ultrawide screens, they were stretched.
This also works alongside the new Anniversary upgrade as of version 2.1 as Bethesda used a new mesh if the upgrade is detected and transitioned into a replacement mesh called logo01ae.nif and logo01aeanimated.nif
Install with a mod manager of your choice and use the FOMOD to install the spect ration, menu design and special effect of your choice. You can install this manually if you wish but you will need to dig out all the relevant files from the FOMOD folder. The mod does not come packed in a BSA due to the numerous options. Although the download is large, once installed, the file size should be relatively small.
You can also use these menu replacers for Legacy straight out of the box as there's no ESP required and I used the standard DXT5 DDS file type.
