I play on Skyrim VR and I don't see the merchant in Whiterun. I guess there is no extra action other than installing the mod right? I use Mod Organizer, not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help welcomed, thanks!
Yo, this is the only mod i can find when i look up spiders with the companion tag who else wants a cute esential spider companion? cause i actually really like spiders (and spider waifus but we probably never get one in SE) i dont understand SE modding otherwise i would take the cutest of the solstheim spiders and add it as a companion pet for the player. of course a bit enlarged to distinguish it from the standart ones. Thanks for this mod though!
any chance you'd be able to do what spidercraft does and fix the recipes for the pack spider and the glowing spider that can't be crafted properly in game? :)
That is actually not a bad idea, i will keep it noted but I may be preoccupied with family and personal matters so an update to the mod will be a while.
I am Switching to SSE from Oldrim after an operating system update. I'm rather glad to see someone else has an interest in the spiders. :)
The only other spider mod I can think of that adds a merchant is this one.

Sadly it doesn't seem to have an SSE version. In fact, I was looking for a version of it when I stumbled across your mod. I will give yours a try and see how It goes!
Hello I am making the switch to SSE and was wanting to use the spiders as a form of damage (I just love there aesthetic and effects) but the act of going all the way to Solstheim every time I want to craft some and there cost of finding rare ingredients put me off until I discovered your mod. It has saved my soon to be made (hopefully) character from being stingy with his spiders. I however have a question: Is this compatible with JK's Whiterun mod?
Very sorry for the late reply but if JK's whiterun mod alters that specific spot where the merchant IS, then it will conflict but otherwise it should be just fine. It should also be good with immersive cities.
I just barely learned about these spiders today, hence finding this mod. I found them and used them for a minute while my mind was being blown before coming to the Nexus to search for mods relating to these things.
But this is the only mod I can find that does anything with the spiders! I was hoping for sure that there would be some sort of Spider-Magic mod adding more spider effects, adding spider spells so you don't use consumables (Hopefully still equipping the spiders in your hands (Or having an optional file to use a normal spell effect in your hand instead)), and buffs to make them more potent and usable. Because as fun as they are they're really weak, particularly with me being around lv50.
I can definitely see this mod being useful though. I'm surprised there aren't more spider mods. Maybe most people were like me and didn't know this existed.
Yea, i also saw the lack of spider mods, so I decided to make this mod to make it a bit easier to get spider scrolls without cheating (im an immersion and balance freak, cant handle crazy mods)
Wait, these spiders have always existed in game? I never cared to complete the Dragonborn DLC cause im doing other quest mods and stuff! All these years in Skyrim and i never knew you could get exploding spiders!
I never used many because it was quite annoying to acquire them, but they really are great. It's still worth finding their only spawn location though because of the other things you can find there. It's been a long time but if I remember correctly there's either geode or gem veins in abundance there.
Mod author didn't say it was impossible, just more difficult. The atronach forage is rather annoying to use and takes a bit of running to get to. Hardly worth using in most cases.
Wait, you can craft them at the astronach forge? Had no idea! XD
But at any rate, SubOhmSteve is also right, its easier to just fast travel to solsthiem then use the secret ladder down right next to the imbuing chamber. BUT, if you want it extremely easy (being what I do to craft spider scrolls) then get "The Scarlett" mod, that way you can craft your lower deck crafting area and use the imbuing chamber there, with all the recipes in a journal and everythin! :D
Actually you can't craft them at the atronach forge. The wiki is miss-leading in its wording. It is saying they are crafted like the atronach forge. Meaning items are used to make something else.

the homeworld of Eternia where Skeletor the master of EVIL Resides!
This is a He-Man reference ain it?
GRUZ = ZURG
But it is also a reference to He-Man. Kinda suprised someone noticed it. XD
