    After extensive testing and several rebuilds of load orders, this mod has proved to be functional, however as soon as a gamepad is plugged in, this and SkyUI MCM Hotkey outright stop working. And it instantly starts working back fine when it's disconnected. 

    I am confused and frustrated and my friend it was never even my last guess.
    Please create and pin a message warning with regards to this to save other users as well :D

      Oh, so that is the reason why the MCM Hotkey mod never worked for me either. Thank you so much for figuring that out. Highly appreciated.

      Glad it was helpful.
      I wouldn't be surprised if this problem with gamepads in Skyrim also plagues other mods. I have encountered that issue with Skyclimb and Skyparkour, they stop working when the controller is plugged in.
      From now on I never rule out that issues can happen because of this

    the same as everyone else. i tried this on a fresh modless setup, just skse, skyui, mcm, tween menu and this.
    it did not work.

      just by the details of the file, its clear it was the same. and it did not work.
      here are the only observations that might help you figure out what is wrong.
      All other TMO addons work perfect.
      Yours is the only one with a papyrus script and esp. (i know, this is necessary for mcm quest, i think, buts its still a difference)
      In the .json file, yours is the only one with "papyrus_event": "ManualTriggerEvent"
      not saying those are the issue, just the only differences i see.
      are you absolutely certain you don't have anything active when you made this? i used one mod that had to backtrack the advanced stuff in order for older machines to use it. also not trying to say thats the issue. just trying to offer as much information as possible. id love to use this. but looks like just about everyone says it isn't working for them.

      its really not a big deal tbh. i generally access the mcm one time at the beginning of a playthrough.

      That's quite strange then...The writing method of json file should absolutely be correct,and the plugin and script weren't made with other mods enabled(Plugin thing is clear since it don't have masters,and as for script you can check for source file.)...so tbh I don't know what to do except telling and confirming you the mod works but may not work in all situations.

      if it doesn't work on a fresh modless environment, it doesn't work. theres something else making it work or something else is going on. either way. maybe i reinstall this someday when I see that its been adjusted in some way. it just doesnt work for some isn't really a valid explanation. especially when tested on a modless environment.

      at least we have the mystery solved. im strictly gamepad so this wont work for me.

    currently the option shows up in tween menu but doesn't open the actual mcm.
    tested with only this mod it works, but as soon I start adding any additional mods it does nothing when mcm is selected

    what would be a helpful way to troubleshoot this?

      EDIT: No this works for me.Sry bro I don't know why it does not the same for u.I guess if you can use it when mods not installed so much the thing sounds like papyrus issue?As it works by calling papyrus event,maybe things are related with papyrus running.

      Yup, I do tests on new game with Alternate perspective as I mostly don't play vanilla anymore, but I've also tried with my old vanilla save. It seems like it's definitely something messing with scripts because sometimes it works especially on a very light load order, but with 1k+ mods it doesn't lol even when I place this at the very bottom

      That's alright.The mod requires new startup.So it's not your fault.Must something stuck the papyrus.

      However,I have a really heavy modlist with 4394 mods(some mods are merged mods and I don't have many armor/weapon mods),and when I test the mod goes smoothly.

      Those addons use SKSE event.But this mod use Papyrus Event.That's difference.

    Hey! I'm having the same issue as a couple of others in regards to the MCM option showing up in the Tween Menu, but not actually opening the MCM unfortunately. Assuming there's currently not a fix nor work around, just thought I'd let you know.

    Thanks for the mod regardless, really nice QoL!

    Absolutely perfect. One small bug, the mcm option covers up the bestiary tab. Though it could just be on my end

      That's because I don't change the psc file to have lines like checking if other UI is opened and to close them.

      EDIT: I may misread your reply or not.Option covers up the bestiary tab?I don't exactly understand but seems like an UI issue that do not relates to my edits.

      Simply explannation:
      This mod allows you to open MCM menu through Tween Menu option when using Tween Menu Overhaul.

    EDIT: This does not open up the menu for me. Selecting the option does nothing.
