i tried installing the mod using Vortex but the game just gives me a black screen (the bethesda logo doesn't even show up) is this a compatibility issue with vortex or am i missing any dependencies?
Are you sure you have the correct version of Inigo (SE rather than LE) for your version of Skyrim? Because that sounds like what happens when you don't. Inigo works fine with Vortex for a large number of people, I just don't happen to use it, so I can't really advise you on troubleshooting Vortex. Inigo also has NO dependencies, so that should not be your problem.
