I don't recognize the fifth rune, but if I assume it's a local variant of "Y" it spells: "VALKYREA" Since the name of the sword is "Varkyrja" I suspect a dane or norwegian used runes from a region or time period different from what this humble Vänersborgare learned, simple as that ✌️
Hello, the sword is cool and beautiful, but can I translate it into another language, I will definitely write that you are the creator and you have been approved.Thank you in advance😉
Hello! I love this sword, but there´s one thing i would change. It has the vanilla weight of 15, which is far too high, nobody could swing it. There are mods out there, which adjust things like weight, but sadly they don´t support the valkyrja. A optional patch would be great, or a quick guide how i can do it by myself. Thanks in advance!
As Skiddle1 noted, you can edit this very easily with xedit or the creation kit (the SE version is a free download on steam now). Also not sure by what metric you think this is too heavy... If you mean by irl standards, that doesn't make much sense as there is no irl unit of measurement assigned to represent the in game weight value. If you mean by in game standards, that also doesn't make sense because it weighs the same as an ebony sword. The dragonbone sword is even heavier (19). So not really sure what you're talking about.
PS I know you probably won't see this because the OP is form a year ago, but hopefully this helps someone else!
Yeah, you can do scaling in nifskope, I think it should be right click on the mesh node and there should be something about transformstions or scale. You might have to scale the whole thing, hilt included, if the blade isnt on a separate object.
This was by far my favorite weapon mod in Oldrim. But the two handed version...I spent the whole day trying to port it. I honestly can't. Can someone please help me? I beg you.
How come this port only has the one-handed option available as opposed to the two-handed version which was available in the oldrim version? Would it be possible to add the two handed version please?
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've attempted to port it, unpacking the BSA archive and running the meshes through the Nifoptimiser and adding it to mod manager in a 7Zip archive, yet whenever I add in the Great Valkyrja to my inventory in console it results in CTD.
I'm not quite sure where I could've gone wrong, because as you say and from what I've read it should be a straightforward process.
EDIT: Scratch that, finally found a way to port it. Just had to mess around with the Cathedral Assets Optimizer options until I got a .bsa that worked. Also a reminder for anyone else wanting a port - load up the .esp in the creation kit as an active file then save and exit. Turns it into a form 44 which SE can use.

The people that want it will have to port the original themselves, should be pretty straightforward.
