If I am remembering correctly, the reason I made bounty and cost was that if the player has the cost multiplier on. The bounty will be different than the cost if there was a 1.5 times multiplier. While I probably could have merged bounty and cost, I thought it would be good to display both. I don't really think there needs to be player gold on there. I feel most of the time they would have the required gold, but if not, it's not really hard to check by going into your inventory. Thanks for the feedback, though. I might change it in the future; we shall see.
Something like "Inn Fee" or "Inn Bounty Payment" would work too!
Displaying how much Gold I have is pretty convenient, it just confused me seeing Cost and Price when I would think Bounty Price Total and Your Gold or something
Maybe even display the cost of the multiplier fee (Your Gold, Inn Courier Price, Inn Fee)
It should just be called "Bounty Mail Service". It might take a little bit to show up, but something probably went wrong beyond a couple of minutes. If you really can't get it to show up, maybe reinstalling it. I never had issues with the mcm menu when testing, so I am not sure
When I start a new game, the MCM menu appears fine.
When I use a save file from version 1.1 to 1.2, the mod itself works fine, but the MCM menu does not appear.
I tried removing the module, saving the game in the old save file, using the ReSaver tool to clean the save file after exiting the game, and reinstalling 1.2 before entering the game, but the MCM menu still did not appear successfully.
Perhaps ver 1.2 should be used directly on new games, rather than trying to use it on old saves that has used ver 1.1?
I looked around online and apparently, this sometimes happens. If you run "setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1" it should reload all mcm menus. I tried it with a save file and it did not seem to reset my settings for any mods. so it should be safe to do. Just make sure you have save you can load back to if it does not work and resets existing values.
Yeah, I was thinking it might make more sense to make this a dialogue option for innkeepers instead of a power. Maybe some additional characters could have it too, like Delvin Mallory if you join the Thieves Guild, recycling common voice lines.
Yeah, it was an easy fix. I just didn't think you wanted it immediately. I went ahead and uploaded an optional file with the feature. If it is fine, it is DLC 1.5 times. As for the March 9th patch, it was just converting esp to esl from LummoxJr's suggestion. I plan to revamp the mod with the next update with the user suggestions. If I can, I will probably make an MCM menu, so it gives the user's more choice on what features they want. It will also help condense the amount of versions I have to release.
As for my next mod, It is not anything special. It is just an edition of my Convert gold to perk points. It was just based on a user request where it is a spell instead of a lesser power. It is just a master alteration spell that unlocks at alteration 90. That went out today. Before starting any other projects, I do want to flesh out this mod more.
I ended up just adding a dialogue option for NPCs who are in the innkeeper faction and steward faction. because of this, I had no idea how to recycle original voice lines. I feel it is a pretty good tradeoff to have the option for a lot more NPCs than to have voice lines for a select few. Dialogue options are out with my new update.
The idea for this mod is actually good, imagine summoning a courier and spoke to them directly about paying your bounty and you'll see them running toward to that hold
Yeah, I am trying to work on that currently for the next update. It might be a pain though since you would be able to technically do it from anywhere. I would have to figure out have the courier NPC always know where to path from.
I have an idea but i'm not sure if its a good one or not since i'm not a modder, What if after summoning the courier just put a timer on the courier let say 15 - 20 seconds then he/she will get teleported or just poof then you'll get a notification that the bounty has been cleared. I mean not really immersive but more better for the user and maybe easier for you than making the courier run from north to south of skyrim hehe that's kinda funny tho
Yeah, I looked into it, and running to a certain city is probably possible, but I have seen people have trouble with the template provided by Bethesda. So, if in testing it doesn't work it might just have to be that.
Interesting. It would be nice if the selection window would show current bounties for the holds. Also, maybe make it not a lesser power, but a dialogue option for stewards? These guys should have ways to contact each other.
Yeah, I was probably going to add the current bounties as a feature for the next update. I don't know what I was thinking about keeping it out. I am pretty new to Creation Kit, so I was hesitant to add dialogue options.
I often lead a group of people in the wild, and accidentally hurt innocent passers-by in the chaos. I didn't notice that I was wanted until entered the city the guards to arrest me. However, my followers opened fire first, causing chaos in the city and preventing me from paying the fine smoothly.
With this, I will never face this problem again! I can pay the fine remotely before traveling into the city, and then I am a clean and good citizen again, haha.

Not sure how you'd do that, since i have no clue about skyrim modding, but that'd be awesome!

"Bounty" <--- This is essentially the "Cost"
"Cost" .... <--- This should be "Player Gold" or "Gold" or "Septims"

But I get you now, thanks for the explanation
I can't find "Bounty Mail Service" in mcm successfully.

*looks around impatiently*
What's in that patch you posted on march 9th buddy?..
Can't wait to see your next mod.

Perhaps your open to mod suggestions?
Currently working on a ground built 1145 count mod list and I'm restore a lot of immersion that is lost or looked over by other authors.
I'd be willing to throw you some easy/small concepts if you're interested.
