About this mod
Adds in a unique unenchanted executioner's sword to Potema's sanctum/dungeon. 2 handed only.
Covered with Imperial and Solitude iconography and used during her reign of terror as the city was turned into a land of death with legions of undead roaming.
Based on historical executioner's swords but exaggerated.

During the final years of Potema's reign following the death of her son during the war of the red diamond, a 10 year long siege begun.
As it went on the Wolf Queen's sanity and desperation only grew, resorting to enlisting legions of the undead, Necromancers, and Vampires among other monsters to hold back the empire from the outside, and ever mounting executions to instill fear from within to halt any thoughts of rebellion among the citizens of solitude. The city was transformed into a land of death, monsters stalking the night, and executions by day.
This executioner's blade has tasted the blood of countless, both innocents and the guilty on the mad queen's whims, maybe the dragonborn can put this once dreaded blade to a better purpose.
This unique steel great sword is based off of European executioners swords, but enlarged with a flared tip to display a more brutal nature to contrast with the gilded imperial design of the grip, guard and pommel.
Location: Within the loot room at the end of Potema's Sanctum, the last segment of Potema's Catacombs, after the boss fight you will find it leaning against the chest in the next room, which also has Potema's skeleton.
Requirements: None, is a completely Standalone greatsword mod, but I would personally suggest using whatever greatsword animation replaces you like, but leaning towards the heavier looking ones. Maybe some berzerk inspired animations or ones designed to imitate the Colossal greatsword animations from the souls series and elden ring.
Crafting: None, found as loot within Potema's catacombs, upgraded using steel ingots.
Balance: Higher damage than a skyforged steel greatsword, but slower.
Credits: UESP wiki and bathesda for the artwork and icon art used to reference when making the guard and pommel.
Note: There is only a two handed version for this weapon as a one handed version would not fit very well, and no scabbard due to the blade shape.
Also was unable to take as good of screenshots as usual, list died so had to take pics in a mostly vanilla game.
