For little stuff like this it's mostly preference. The main difference is that BSAs tend to be read by the game a little faster, theoretically improving performance somewhat (mostly reduced stutter), compared to if you have a lot of loose assets. That's usually only important for bigger mods like large texture packs.
Generally the only downsides are that loose files take priority over BSAs, and that BSAs are loaded based on their plugin order. So you have to keep a better eye on what your mods do (or turn on the experimental archive parsing in MO2 so it can tell you about conflicts in BSAs too), and be extra careful with the load order of plugins using BSAs.
