Wonder why I'm having problems with this? I have your alchemy table (OMG LOVE) and something's not right here with this file. I downloaded via Vortex and the table looks the same as ever, even though the alchemy table shows up fine. I thought maybe you packed it wrong? haha So I looked at it and no. I am not sure I must be doing something wrong.
I even hand copied the textures and meshes into their appropriate folders. Still nothing.
It sounds like you've got something that's hard-swapped the tables out so that Skyrim is looking to a different directory added by another mod. I don't play SE so I don't really know what's going on mod-wise. I know there's a General Stores port, but I don't know if it includes the Craftable Cloud Storage addon. If it does, the tables are indeed hard-swapped to account for CCS's functionality. If you do use General Stores, check to see if there's a meshes/generalstores/ccs/xgsxenchantingworkstation.nif, and same but xgsxenchantingworkbench.nif. If that's the case, let me know...I have a patch for that which retains functionality for GS which I haven't uploaded anywhere for some reason >.>;;;
If it's not GS, then something else must be doing it, although I would have no idea what that would be. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this, though.
If it makes you feel better I had this same issue for ages, which is all sorts of frustrating and embarrassing to not understand your own mod's conflict lol
I do have General Stores loaded. But I just came back to post this. The modded house I was in (Scholar's Refuge) it didn't work. But I just came to my other modded house I use, Mirele Bismath, and was pleased to see a cherrywood enchanting table! (it's the one tabletop one, not the entire table...haven't seen an entire enchanted yet).
Well I think too this happened when I played Oldrim, with a different table recoloring. I had some issues sometimes, now come to think of it. It must be the issue you've described.
Thank you for replying back! I guess I'll just deal with the old wood ones when I see them. At least I know I'm not crazy and was able to get it to work.
Editing: I'm checking now for the files you asked and will re-edit this post.
EDIT: FIle check: there IS xgsxenchangintworkstation and xgsxenchantingworkbench.nif files in the data/meshes/generalstores/ccs
Ah, yeah, plenty of player homes with their own fancy-shmancy crafting accoutrements out there Glad that seems to be the case and not something you'll have to hunt down.
Good to know about the GS paths! I'll go digging in my old junk and see if I can find the compatible meshes.
Hello, great mod. I love it. I was wondering if anyone knew if it's possible to use this mod as a resource, not just a replacer. Please let me know if I'm missing something.
Heya Refurb Madness, so glad to see you're a part of the SSE community. Thanks for porting this as it's something I used in one of my LE player homes. With that said, I'm sure to use it again.
This is lovely, thanks for sharing. Since you invite suggestions, I do think it would look AMAZING if the design on the tabletop was in GOLD to stand out more
I was thinking the other day there needed to be SOMEthing to make it "pop", but I couldn't think of what. I reckon you're right on the money Thank you!
Oh my god, I never got the notification for this, I am so sorry. I know it's a huge pain when a mod's official version differs from the file's. Very late, I know, but it's fixed. <3

Could anyone help? Thanks!

Edit: It seems like all the flat single tabletops work. The full enchanting tables seem not to (except where the modder enabled it to do so.)
heh just noticed this has been suggested below already but ah well I leave this here anyways
I love this, how'd you like if I used it to make Black Soul Gem crafting stations in Necromancer dungeons?I used this to add Black Soul Gem crafting to my Simple Soul Gem Crafting in Necromancer dungeons!
