The fact that you were able to make an appealing 2k texture out of that blurry garbage is amazing. Would you consider doing other jewelry items in the future? The divine amulets are rather bad, and I would be especially grateful for a retexture of the elder council amulet.
HA, only been doing this a matter of months, that 256k image was a nightmare trying to see where something started and something ended, could barely make anything out. On the plus though it got me to use nifskope to make sure the textures where wrapping around the mesh properly. So i suppose this ugly little bugger of a ring did me a favour in the end.
I'm using this for Oldrim and I want to ask if "ringofnamira_e" is the correct file name because in Oldrim it's "ringofnamira_m". Did bethesda change that for the Special Edition?
edit: I just checked the Oldrim mesh of Namira's Ring and it says "textures\armor\amuletsandrings\ringofnamira_e.dds" while the texture itself is labeled "ringofnamira_m". Seems to be another mistake by bethesda.

To be honest i'll never be happy with this ring because the mesh is terrible particularly for the 2 emeralds on the ring which look flat. Would make such a difference if the mesh had 2 spheres added for the gems. Anyhow i don't think i'll make it any better so thanks for the kind words as always!
I'll upload a 1K texture. I used nifskope for the first time doing this ring then i could see where the texture map was pointing. Otherwise couldn't make out darn diddly arn doo darn diddly! I said DOH! many many times making this ring...

Can you include a 1K version? I think in most cases 2K for a ring texture alone is slightly overkill at 8X the resolution of vanilla.
