This works great but I can`t delete the master dependencies in SSEdit...and without that merging plugins is pointless, no? I don`t get it...every guide from goggle tells me to delete the files from the new-merged-esp to remove the master dependancy...but then the changes from the original mod esps are undone....what sense does that make? ..sorry, this is too high for me. I do not understand this.
Originally I wanted to merge every NPC overhaul into a single esp....but, well, not possible. In Skyrim LE this was an ease with Tes5Edit...not with SSEdit or xEdit or whatever -.- Just why?
This is great, I'd love a similar script that forwards cell/worldspace lighting, water, and music values. There's so many cell records it's hard to keep up with custom patches for lighting/water mods.
Hello. I have a mod with a lot of requirements for it. I copied all the textures from these mods to the data folder (they were needed for the replacer to work). Can I use your script to leave only the necessary textures? That is, I want to delete unused textures. I will be glad if you tell me some way to do this (I don't know English well, sorry).
This sounds potetially helpful. But wouldn´t it be easier to make a script that maks a copy of the selected NPC(s) from the last loaded mod into a new ESP(FE) and than copy/forward face, hair, tint from another selected mod to the newly created ESP(FE)?
That´s what I did with my load order - manually tho, because I'm not good enough at scripting :-)
This may be a more optimal solution, mine is more lazy and mainly used for my modlists with multiple masters in all directions (nolvus etc.), where I don't want to bother with them. Afterward yes, for a cleaner and more elegant solution, choose to use the Synthesis patch or EasyNpc !
most likely its an MO2 only solution. it messes with file names and such meaning it may have been specifically built to work with exclusively the MO2 folder structure
synthesis also has facefixer. there are lots of ways to handle it, and each does something different. facefixer is probably 1 to 1 in terms of functionality with this xedit script, I'll checkout the plugin chooser though, as I'm still looking for a patcher that is update proof. that's to say if you have a LOTD appearance changer, it will only grab the appearance records from the esp, and for the rest forward LOTD.
