RSFH SE Version 1.0 -- SterkOks (James)
Introduction: Thank you for using my new and improved farmhouse mod. I hope you're a returning user from LE, but if you're new, that's fine too.
Installation: If using a mod manager, install as normal. If you want the NPCs to look the way mine do, make sure the FaceGeom data is put into your data tree.
I do not know if the NMM installer will handle the NPC files. If you want them to look different, you can very easily create your own, by opening the CharGen menu (RaceMenu), making a face, then opening the console and typing SPF (Save Player Face), followed by a space and the name of the NPC you're creating (Byl, Jyl, or Phyl).
--
V1.0.1 Added facegeom with proper dir, face geom should work properly. Report any bugs to the Nexus page. -- Byl is an Imperial, and Phyl and Jyl are High Elves. If you use a different race for any of their faces, you'll get wonky looking NPCs.
Features --
New style of house, Farmhouse 2
Byl is an alchemy merchant and trainer, and a potential spouse.
Jyl is an enchanting merchant and trainer, and a potential follower and spouse. Phyl is a smithing merchant, a one - handed trainer, and a potential follower and spouse.
Jyl was supposed to have a Heal Other spell, but as I learned from AFT, the default engine doesn't support NPCs healing the player. If you want Jyl (or anyone else) to heal you, install Amazing Follower Tweaks, equip the spell, and teach it to them via the AFT Tweak Spells, instructions for which can be found on AFT page of the Nexus.
All crafting stations available, with materials for alchemy, enchanting, and smithing, both hard placed (will not change and possibly will not respawn) and levelled lists (in various containers). In addition, there are also many alchemy ingredients in the form of harvestable flora. There are also five plots of soil where you can plant alchemy ingredients, located south of the door, past the crafting area.
In a fashion after my true nature, I have placed several pieces of glass equipment. Some people feel that this is imbalanced, and I would agree. If you don't want them, don't pick them up :)
There is a display case and weapon plaque on the ground floor and a bookshelf which can store thirty - six books.
The NavMesh (the way NPCs walk in the world) outside is a little wonky. You may notice that followers take a strange path outside the house. At least it works.
--
In the future, I plan to implement these ideas. These are to be done on my own schedule, and I make no promises that they will ever be added;
Cell reset - All items placed in the house respawn every time you enter the house.
A quest to speak to an NPC (probably Phyl - Phyl's my girl) about moving into the house, instead of just automatically living there.
A quest to spar with Jyl and Phyl, similar to the College of Winterhold First Lessons and Companions Spar with Vilkas quests, respectively.
A sub - basement with lots more display cases, weapon plaques, weapon racks, and mannequins.
That's all for now folks. Thanks for the download!
