Never would I have thought I'd see myself in here, and I have filters so I may not be there for everyone, but I still wanted to save this. I'm not one to usually celebrate, but this really means a lot to me... truly thank you to everyone who endorsed ❤️
Using a forge snaps you into a new position. This can cause any smp outfit to buzz out while trying to adapt to the new position, and potentially clip with the collision I didn't check using tools with the dress, but I believe this is what's happening to you
i also experience very intense fps drop after some jumping and sneaking, i have realized it after entering an interior with light source the dress is mostly standing still but the shadow reflected from the dress reveal a line of shadow spinning around the dress pretty violently so i presume its something to do with the physics that doesn't reset back correctly because when it start it doesn't stop until i unequip the dress.
i hope it might help to fix the fps problem thank you very much for this mod mister riholu :D
Hey there Calibre👋 Mmh your answer further convinces me that it's an issue with your smp setups I use Nolvus v5 and Nolvus v6 to make and test my conversions, both at the highest preset. They're both pretty heavy, and I've run around Whiterun and Solitude, going in and out of buildings. If I had seen such a huge frame drop I would've noticed. One of the testers also tried the working stations yesterday, on the same modlist, and didn't report any issue with lags or any physics going crazy, and no one else who had the file before release reported such a thing. Only issue someone did report, physics-wise, is extra springiness on the skirt but they also said the issue for them applies to other outfits as well, so not just Helga
I can't think of any cause for your problem if not that something is wrong with your FSMP. You should test the original dress alone and see if it still happens, but some outfits can be more susceptible than others. Helga itself is pretty twichy by default
do you know what can be the problem with the SMP setup ? because if the problem is on my end i want to diagnose and fix it. can you share your knowledge with me on what can i do to hopefully correct the problem ?
its worth noting that i really appreciate you for the replay ! thank you :)
Sadly there's nothing much I know. It's been a while since I've played without an existing modlist, so I'd probably advice to try out different FSMP versions and testing other smp clothes to see if the issue applies to other dresses This conversion shouldn't touch the skirt in any way, except for the sliders themselves: weights and xml are untouched for 3BA, except the breasts' portion but that has nothing to do with the skirt itself
I also have the same problem, when riding horses, and with some other actions. I think it's difficult for it to be a problem with my smp configuration, because I have a lot of smps in my game, and none of them present a problem, only yours unfortunately.
Alright, I've checked work stations and horses myself (both bought and phantom horse), both with the conversion and without. I did see the strings on the arms spazzing out and the skirt breaking collision and going through the legs more or less, depending the situation, but nothing like a huge loss of framerate These issues apply to the original dress as well too
Hi, I'm sorry to bother you with this subject again, but I like the armor. But I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the version of Xtudo that I'm using.
No problem, it's ok The conversion I did for Xtudo's version, and that I see you downloaded, has no physics whatsover. No skirt movement, no breast physics. If you're using that version, it's impossible to have any smp issue Can you show me your left panel's load order? As well as telling me which bodyslide did you build for the dress
Sorry my friend, I installed the mod incorrectly, the error was all on my side, there is nothing wrong with your mod. My sincere apologies for all the trouble I caused, and I thank you for all your kindness and willingness to deal with the problem. And thank you for the mod and all your work, which I really like. 👍
Oh nice! I'm happy you managed to solve the issue and can enjoy the dress fully now :D It's plenty fine, if anything I thank you for insisting on finding a fix and keeping it informative, not everyone will sit there and troubleshoot if it doesn't work right away
It's so pretty! Idid encounter an issue though, the textures aren't showing up in-game for me. Everything is just that flashy purple colour. Any idea what could have caused this and what I can do to fix this?
The bust and the physics w the non physics corset looks spectacular, thank you. I remember it looking pretty close before, but looks exceptional now. Awesome.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! I learned so much more during this time since I posted that conversion, I'm glad I was able to finally give this dress the treatment it deserves ^^
Xtudo seems to use the original dress, no further edits But if you mean to use my conversion with his plugin, just delete my plugin and put my mod under his in the left panel

Frame rate goes from 60 to 0.3 fps.

Sorry that's a dumb mistake on my part, haha. Thanks for the great mod!
