For some reason, I can't for the life of me get this to work. I've tried using older versions of SRD, I've tried loading this plugin at the top and at the bottom of my load order. According to the SRD log, it only sometimes get parsed but even when it does I can only hear itm_potionuse_01 (the one from this mod). Has anyone had the same issue and gotten it to work? I'm on 1.5.97, have BEES 1.2 installed and back on SRD 1.5.1.

This is not working for me... :'( I tried this on my testing build with nothing but the bare necessities activated (and SRD 1.5.1) and it only plays itm_potionuse_01 or _02 no ISC or ANYTHING audio/ potion related installed at all; pure vanilla potions It must have something to do with SRD but I have no clue where to look or how to troubleshoot this any further. Your others mods are working like a charm Im on 1.5.97... if this might be somehow relevant. Thanks for any clues, Im kinda lost and this sounds are soooo good!!!!
You can use xEdit and search the record (put 000B6435 in "FormID"). Then you have to right click and remove the entry Immersive Sounds - Compendium.esp (NOT Skyrim.esm). Then you should just have the Vanilla potion sound and it will be compatible with this
this instruction helped me fix this issue, i'm also on 1.5.97 and it's working perfectly.
This mod has a HEDR of 1.71 for new versions of the game. You should be using BEES if you are on a lower version. You may have other mods that aren't working properly if you don't have that by now.
Ofcourse I have BEES installed Im really clueless what could cause this In SSEEdit nothing overwrites ITMPotionUse and I still do get the base sounds from Magical Potion use itm_potionuse_01 or _02
Same here, on game version 1.5.97, with BEES 1.2, SRD 1.5.1, latest versions of all utilities required.
Using ISC 3.0, it will not play base sounds, but after removing the record that @Therrao mentions, it plays the basic item usage sound. But this mod's additional sounds distributed via SRD will not play.
Tried using the potion it attaches the sound directly to (03EADD) but still does not work.
Ok I just spend... lets say too much time to bite the bullet and brute force troubleshooting... At the end I managed to make it work on my test MO2 instance so I tought the error is somewhere on my side My main mod list is roughly 3000 mods so it took some time deactivating them category after category. At the end I did find out somethings: The mod works with less than 256 esl/esp active (which lets be honest is laughable) I could start the game with 255 active esl all the time and the SRD sounds were played, but as soon as i activated ANY OTHER esl it didn't work again To be sure I checked the SRD page and found that regions are handled differently than shaders, ingridients, etc So I downloaded your Unique shader mod as a test and voilà I had the same problem (which maybe explains why the regional sound triggers are working but the ingestibles ones not) I am 100% sure that the core problem lies within SRD, but maybe this information will help you to find a solution or to bring the problem to doodlum. Anyway thanks for the help and hopefully this is useful information for you.
After reading through the SRD bugs page, I believe I found a fix. Just move the .esp for this mod higher in your load order (ideally near the top, <100 in position). This will enable the new sounds to function as normal. Since this mod only adds new audio mappings it shouldn't conflict with anything.
Some weird issue causes late-loading plugins to not properly be read by SRD.
Clofas, it might be worth pointing this out on the mod description + also the potential ISC sound record overlap.

Hi, thanks for the great mod, adds some much needed variety to the potion sounds.
Is there a way to reduce the volume for the base item sounds? It's very loud and makes the secondary magical sound almost inaudible.
Also, not sure what can be done but an "issue" I noticed is custom made potions using the base poison sound (bubbly sfx). This is probably a vanilla game issue that the custom potions use itm_poisonuse_xx.wav for some reason.
try the Ultimate Animated Potion NG version, it's working fine for me. But if you have ISC installed you need to modify ISC sound pathing for the new sound to be played, one of the comment here mentioned how to do it, it's very easy.

Mod doesent work for me. I have Ultimate Potion NG + Immerisve Sounds + Smart NPC Potions installed. I just plays one singular potion drinking sound for every potion.
