About this mod
Make food matter without survival mode annoyances: disable your character's passive health regeneration and instead eat food to receive heal-over-time buffs. This is a complete re-implementation of the classic Subsistence mod, but using Skypatcher for maximum compatibility.

What this mod does:
1. All vanilla record edits are done at runtime via SkyPatcher.
2. ESP is flagged ESL and merely creates a new spell needed to offset PCHealRateCombat
3. Player will have a passive heal rate of practically zero.
4. Existing FoodRestoreHealth effects have been removed.
5. New FoodRestoreHealthDuration has been added to ALL foods.
6. Foods will restore small amounts of health over time. The duration of the effect will correspond to how "large" the food item is. This is achieved by inspecting the foods assigned Survival Mode satiety value. This works even when survival mode is disabled. Larger meals mean you will passively regenerate health for longer (e.g. 150 seconds for the largest meals).
7. Does NOT edit anything to do with Stamina.
8. Does NOT edit anything to do with Health Regen potions or alchemy ingredients.
9. Does NOT conflict with Race records or the player record
10. Does NOT rely on AE's survival mode being installed. Update.esm adds all of the keywords and magic effects necessary for this work.
Install Steps
1. Add the files to your Data folder, or use a mod manager. If you're using vortex, make sure it's putting the files in the right place; I've heard Vortex gets confused when the zipped mod doesn't include the Data/ at the root...
Uninstall Steps
1. With the mod still installed, open the console, and run this command: player.removespell PCHealRateCombatOffset
2. Make a new save and quit the game
3. Uninstall the mod and relaunch the game
4. Load the save you made after the removespell command. Ignore the warning about the save relying on Subsistence.
