You don't make your own archive... you extract the rar file and then place the BSA and ESP files in the data folder for Skyrim... I don't get how extracting files turn into making your own archive.
Tried the mod again, and it works like a charm. Not sure what my issue was when I made these comments.
Been too long; don't remember, but I suspect I tried to download it via vortex and that didn't work, so I tried to download it manually and make my own archive, and declined to mention the first step since everyone else was already saying it was incomplete and not working? Y'know?
It's nice mod. no friendly fire to town NPC with Sun blast. But Serana get hurt by Sun blast. Maybe cause she is vampire. Anyway thank you for this mod.
Stop trying to use NMM, just manually download the file, extract with Winrar or 7-zip and then manually move the BSA and ESP to your data folder. Simples! Or even faster, extract directly to your data folder.
Not sure what the fuss is about, simply download the mod manually then use 7-zip to extract the files and you get the BSA and ESP files extracted. Just tested this myself.
Yep, still broken today as well. I think you messed up the rar file somehow, juliano09. I can download it manually but the file is corrupt. It looks amazing so it's a shame we can't download it properly!
Had my interest until the Dragonrend effect. There's no lore reason why the bow of a sun god would cause dragons to experience mortality when hit by it, it seems OP and doesn't really make sense for the theme of the weapon. Any chance of a version without it? Otherwise it looks very nice. Similar to a mo I used for oldrim -- focusing on making it a powerful anti-undead bow, without making it the best-bow-ever-for-everything, which is exactly what I want out of it.
Just curious, but if I was to download this mod before another mod that changed auriel's bow, would the changes to the bow's special ability when you shoot it into the sky from your mod still carry over?
Perhaps you need a different small description. "Just another bow mod, move along" makes me think that it's just another "OP 100 million k damage bow LOLZ" while it doesn't sound like that at all from the main description
