Hello fellow studded armor enjoyer. Been wanting something like this for awhile. Looks great and I want to use it but I have a request. Anyway you could make a version that's less OP in the early game? I really want to use the sleeved/scarf studded armor with my char, but it has an armor rating of 77. Thats higher than dragonplate and it makes me feel like I'm using god mode lol. I'd personally like to see it at 34 so it's on par with steel.

Ah nevermind, I went ahead a did it myself. It's been a few years since I dabbled with CK but I figured it out and made myself my own personal less-OP variant. It was just personal preference so, I otherwise really enjoy what you did here.

Yeah, I may have gone a bit overboard with the armor rating lmao. Glad to know you fixed it yourself :)

Big fan of this. I love the thrown together look of some of this armor. More of this please!

If these are made using vanilla assets, are they compatible with HDT-SMP Vanilla Armors?

Very nice mod by the way. Love from China

I never tried, but I don't think they'll conflict with one another. These armors just won't have physics applied to them unless someone makes an individual SMP conversion.
      And thank you 🙂

    Hello,
can we see these armors distributed to npcs and other bandits with SPID or Skypatcher ?

No, this is standalone, conceieved to be a male Dragonborn-only outfit to stand out among the NPCs. They're easy to get, since they require little in terms of materials and no perks required.

I can't even distribute it to NPCs because I don't know how to do it, and even if I did, females would get invisible armors since this is a male-only armor mod. Sorry, but if anyone makes a SPID patch or something I'll gladly lend them permission.

hello, greetings and thanks for this mod but I am having a strange inconvenience when running the Dyndolod TEXGENX64, texgen throws an error message and only happens when I have this mod active

      Hi
I´m having the same problem (context: texgen and dyndolod are tools for terrain/meshes generating or smth like that im new myself to it) when opening them they load every mod/plugin to it and this one is causing it to crash before it can finish loading them. Apparently, based on the Dyndolod Exceptions Messages

      - If the assertion failure (the error it causes) is a 100% repeatable (which it is), it might be caused by a broken plugin. (Now that's a technically correct way to call it but misleading, cause the mod works [love it btw]).

If you're able to find something to fix it it would be awesome. I, personally, will try to find a fix and will update if i find something.

I wonder if it's becaused I flagged this mod as an ESL.

I installed the dyndolod mod myself for Seasons of Skyrim and I don't get any error messages when I play the game. Does my mod prevent you from playing the game altogether, or does it cause any in-game glitch or something? It's really hard for me to understand what's going wrong...

The mod by itself (before installing Dyndolod) work fawlessly.

It's only when opening texgen that, before it show the config panel, an error message appears saying "An error occurred while loading modules" and the log says:

      "...
[00:21] xEdit Background Loader: [GarmagicArmorCompilation.esp] File loaded (CRC32:9E161233)
[00:21] xEdit Background Loader: Fatal: <EAssertionFailed: Assertion failure (E:\Delphi\Projects\DynDOLOD3\Core\wbImplementation.pas, line 19269)>"

Note that dyndolod page suggest disabling the mod that's mentioned before the error and that's how i found out.

IDK if this relevant or not, but I'm getting this message from LOOT regarding this mod...

As of this, I'm uninstalling your mod for now untill it's fixed.
I like the looks btw. hope you fix it soon.

So, the issue is that... It's a light plugin? If I were to revert it back to an .esp the issue would be fixed?
I'll see if that fixes the issue...

Okay, I uploaded an alternate file which is no longer flagged as an .esl. I don't know if it will fix the issue or not since I don't understand it very well to begin with, so I'd like to ask you to test it out and see if the issue persists or not.
      Thank you in adnvance!

I hope I'm not being annoying, but I have to ask if you plan to make variants of the basic blue and red shirt armor with the studded armor shirts (I put a reference photo), that shirt model is also nice to look at

Not for the time being. Right now I'm fully comitted to completing the next Serana Dialogue Expansion update while having a couple of exams to deal with.

I've been wondering if you'll make more variants of the armor? My favorites are the simple ones that only have the breastplate or with a shoulder pad, it would be great to see variants of elven, ebony or orc armor.

Maybe in the future, but rn I want to focus on finishing my Serana Dialogue Expansion's update first. Then I might see what I can do, although I tried with the ebony curiass and it didn't really looked that good tbh. Guess I'll see how Elven and Orc do.

Okay, so I used google translate and I don't know how accurate it is, but the translation was, and I quote, "why the f*#@ are these bags there for".

      • First of all: Rude. Chill, okay? No need to use that kind of language.
      • Second of all: It's a purely aesthetic choice, and I think they look neat.
