Thank you very much for your hard and great work, I really enjoy your character replacer. Would it be possible for you to create replacers for the popular mod Immersive Wenches?
I was really happy to see this. But...she's got a unique body texture (that is a pretty important part of the mod) - any chance we could have a "head only" version?
Yeah, I considered that, but its just not my thing. I don't think barcodes and circuits fit into my own idea of immersive Skyrim. Not knocking the original, but this is my own vision. If anything, I considered making some type of dwemer texture over the skin.
"...some type of dwemer texture over the skin" Not, THIS is an awesome and lore-friendly idea! Looking forward to it if you feel like adding it some day.
Just a vote for a dwemer texture. That would fit much better for my skyrim world while acknowledging Ashe's uniqueness. As it is, I'm using https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28102 without the wings, for the metallic bits seemingly embedded in the skin. In either case, excellent replacer, there's something about the skin tone, gloss level etc that hints at her nature really well even without the additions.
Two things first: Love the look, the reason I wanted to try it out was actually specifically because of the removal of the bar code. I have a couple of your standalone followers and use several of your replacers, excellent work on all of them and have never had any issues.
I'm getting something odd with Ashe tho: no facial movement or expression at all. I have the BHUNP version installed, with the expressive facial animations option, and of course have the expressive animations requirements. Any idea of the source for the issue?
I have no idea. I've never seen that issue myself, but I've heard other people have had it with different mods. It sounds like you're still missing a requirement, but not for this mod.
But I have all requirements for both mods, etc. and this is the only npc or replacer the issue shows up with. Really strange. If I ever figure out the issue I'll update. Thanks for taking the time to respond
so I went through everything step by step. Looks like somewhere along the line my installation of the Visions Assets pack had gotten screwed up. This was a fresh play through, so I hadn't come across the other of your replacers, etc. yet and just assumed it was unique to Ashe. I double checked, I sought them out and the couple I looked in on were all having issues. No idea how that kind of thing happens.
Anyways, after a complete re-install (double checking and removing any files from the old install, etc) it all works perfectly fine, no matter what combination of options I choose, (expressive animations, no expressive animations, soft vs muscular, etc etc)
So, no issue with the constituent parts, just an issue on my end.
As always, your replacement and follower mods are wonderful. I only have one observation I would make regarding Ashe. Her hair and skin in my game appeared darker than the original. I turned off reshade to see if it was true, but even so, her skin seems a little darker and her hair tends towards gray. Maybe in future updates try to make the colors more faithful to the original mod and include the marks on her body, because all of these elements are part of the mod's lore. Otherwise, the mod is incredibly impeccable. Congratulations. Forgive me if I said something stupid, but I also think that perhaps this is your vision of Ashe and I respect that. If you are interested in highlighting these points of the lore, that would be my observation. Otherwise, everything is beautiful.
