Amazing work, love it quick question would you consider? making an amulet of kings that has been reconstructed but has no power whatsoever more of a decorative piece now

Not really on my to do list, since, by lore, the amulet of kings was destroyed at the end of TES:IV. Anyway I currently have something very similar on my table that you might like as well.

      Cheers.

What's the point of this trinket?  Maybe a ring with perks?

You need it to get Pelinal's armor if you use LOTD.

Sir Amiel's Ring has special meaning for those of us who played Oblivion, in addition to being a gorgeous ring. As the description page says, it is an unenchanted ring so you can enchant it any way you want to.

Important note on the Legacy of the Dragonborn: As 10xDinoMastahx10 mentioned...

      Spoiler:
      Show
IGNORE ALL THIS. The fomod for SE has the support for LotD! Oops - I play on LE, and did not know he had included it on SE!

the Legacy of the Dragonborn also has a "Signet Ring of Sir Amiel" - but this ring is NOT a replacer for the LotD ring, unless Ave or someone else does a patch, or if like me... you can just do that yourself. Doing replacers for LotD is often a bit trickier than a normal replacer, because of how LotD allows for "replicas" that can be used for the displays of some items, and due to the dimensions of some items that might not fit properly in the LotD displays. I think rings are normally not an issue for size, but I know staffs and other weapons can be! Either way, I believe that the "replica" version mesh would need to be replaced, as well as the main LotD mesh... or the equivalent changes in SSEEdit in the LotD plugin.

Edit: After checking (on LE), the LotD version is not enchanted either, so you probably could copy the right hand ring mesh (and ground object mesh) and rename to replace the LotD versions in the LotD folder structure with the LotD name. On LE the LotD folder and filename is meshes\armor\amielring\amielring.nif and the ground object (what you see in the inventory or if dropped) is meshes\armor\amielring\amielring_go.nif - the replica uses the same meshes. I did NOT try the above even on LE, but if anybody cares... give it a try - after saving the LotD meshes, of course!

Edit2: I used my method above (on LE) to make a copy of the two meshes from this mod (Ring_1.nif and Ring_gnd.nif) and place them in the LotD folders using the LotD mesh names as descripted in the paragraph above, and it seems to work just fine. Although I could not find a way to build the "replica" version on LE, if I used the console to get a "replica" version, it also was displayed just fine. Not sure why I could not build the "replica" on LE... but I could not find a COBJ (Contsructible Object) in the LE LotD plugin, which is what would be needed.

Disclaimer: I play on LE, but I assume the above information is true for SE as well.

Edit: Hey Ave! Another amazing creation! Endorsed on LE!
Edit2: For those interested in the LotD compatibility, see my updated notes under the spoiler above.
Edit3: Haha, as Ave explained in another reply... the fomod on SE has the LotD files... just as I described. BUT I didn't know that since I play on LE, so ignore my spoiler!

Good question, what is the point in any mod which add unique models to the game?

      cheers.

Make the game beautiful of course! Which your mods do in spades. Thanks so much!

Gorgeous ring. You always make pieces of arts.

For those who not use LotD, maybe your model could replace another ring ingame like Ring of Masser (it's just a suggestion).

EDIT : or Vittoria Vici's wedding band

there's bit of an incompatibility with LotD, if people want to use this modal a patch would be required to see it displayed also!

See my reply to DoBaKuHoB in this thread. If you try it, let us know the results on SE.

@chickmetalhead: SE Version has a LotD version.
@ArchGuardianAngel: How does it require a patch, I did check the LotD in CK and didn't found anything else that point to other meshes than the one I replaced. However did not check it ingame to be honest.

      cheers.

Sorry about missing that! Your fomod on SE does the same thing I did on LE... and it works on LE. So hopefully it will on SE as well. Sorry for the confusion I caused, if any!
