Humbly inquiring whether you could please consider making a vanilla-texture-path/clutter-only version (if possible), so PGPatcher can patch these meshes for CM and PBR (if a retexture, for example Skyland CPM/PBR, comes with the required textures)? Thank you!
I like your suggestion, but unfortunately some of the items in question have unique texture UV's that will not be compatible with vanilla textures. Those items will require some extensive reworks to make them compatible. At this stage I do not have enough free time to dedicate to this, but I'll keep it in mind for a possible future update. Thanks for the suggestion.
Unfortunately my LE has many bugs and runs very badly these days, it seems to struggle on modern hardware. So I have decided to stop porting my stuff to LE as I'm struggling to test it properly. Also, as far as I know BOS does not work in LE, so I'm not planning on porting this to LE.
To remove Variant 2 from the swaps, simply open the Blacksmith Workbench Variants _SWAP.ini file with Notepad and delete the following: blacksmithworkbench03,blacksmithworkbench03_Clutter01,blacksmithworkbench03_Clutter02,blacksmithworkbench03_Clutter03
Or if you prefer you can delete all the text in the ini file and copy paste the below:
I honestly can't say. If WC uses the mesh as a reference to activate it's scripts, then they probably won't work together. But I have no idea how it was coded and I do not have the coding nor xedit experience required to figure it out, unfortunately. Sorry i can't be of more help. shazdeh2 should be able to tell you, though.
I was a bit sad too when I found out that Renthal's bench conflicted with the vanilla bench's texture. It's been in my mod list for ever and I initially intended to keep it as part of the swaps. I might try to figure out a patch at some stage to add it back in.
Interesting idea. The anvil is actually part of the Blacksmith Bellows mesh which includes the fire pit, bellows, water trough and anvil. Its a pretty complicated mesh consisting of many animation nodes that tend to break easily. Working with it is a bit cumbersome and you need to cater to several different embers and fire effects mods... but its not impossible, and I do like the idea

I'll have a look.
Thanks for making so many of these.
