I'm pretty sure that every single archer bandit in my game has a crossbow with this mod enabled. Like they spawn with a crossbow *and* a hunting bow or whatever but they always use the crossbow because it does more damage.
I've been using the Daedric CB with Daedric bolts (I think it is, will have to check for sure, but it's the highest-level bolts). Seems getting a hit registration on the target is a bit difficult for some reason; very fine point where it works. The DG steel CB is fine, but you mention the characteristics for all of them were changed. I've not tested others, just the Daedric and DG steel.
Maybe a conflict somewhere on my end? I've tried this in two 'profiles' (Vortex) with the same result.
my crossbows use the same collision as the default dawnguard ones Its either the good ol crossbow not being able to shoot properly bug or there is a conflict on your end
don't know due to your mod or not. but sometimes, Draugr carry crossbow that makes them couldn't attack due to no animations. are you distribute the crossbow to Draugr too?
Its expanding on already existing leveled lists without any kind of script fuckery That way crossbows and bolts are reliably handed out to bandits, merchants, looting chests and so on The only scripting change this mod has is from the soul cairn husk trader so you can buy a crossbow for 25 husks, thats it
Also, I entirely rebalanced every crossbow - that contains the vanilla ones Crossbows are balanced and distributed the same way as other weapons are now, they deal 1 damage more than a bow/their arrow counterparts and the lowest tier is iron and increases with steel to orcish, to dwarven, to elven, to glass, to ebony and to daedric - like every other kind of skyrim weapon
Crossbows are implemented here in a way bethesda should've done it themselves
I have BEES, but your mod has _ResourcePack.esl as a master, BEES can't fix that. And I am not using Skyrim downgrader, merely I am a GOG user who didn't update his game.
then backup your TESV exe and update the game real quick to download the files Once you're done xEditing them out, put the old TESV exe back in and remove the AE stuff
These should play well with my Automatic Crossbows as I simply borrowed pre-existing automatic firing script codes and applied them to SE and every AE crossbow, and I never touched the meshes.
Been looking for a way to have a unique, animated mesh for the crossbows that has "moving parts" that rotate and move as long as the left mouse button is held down until you either run out of bolts or stop firing to duck into cover.

I specifically looked out to not give it to draugr
I'll double check tho, thanks for telling me

When you start the game you are also able to craft the iron variant without any smithing perk
